Property is lovely, staff were really friendly.
Room was clean and comfortable, decorated very prettily too.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, definitely make time to eat in the pub if you can!
If you stay of a weekend and don’t like noise, request a front facing room, the bar down the road allows it’s party people to party in the rear smoking area till around 3am!
A shame, because the hotel is definitely worth staying at!
Historic building,lovely staff always willing to go the extra mile. Comfortable bed and great food ❤️ including a great breakfast menu. They also made a fuss of my little dog Reggie
The free car park at the back of the hotel made life very easy.
One little criticism was the main staircase to the first floor was being painted so we had to use the steeper rear stairs which was a challenge for my wife and I who have some mobility issues.

Pub downstairs was not a pleasant place for breakfast, especially with various dogs barking and growling at eachother in a small area, and strong beery atmosphere
