A very friendly welcome and fantastic value for money. Very clean and spacious room with en suite shower room. Great choice of breakfast with eggs cooked to your own specification. My wife very much enjoyed the poached option!!
Lots of off road parking and a 10 minute drive from Chippenham Town centre with lots of bars and restaurants.
We would definitely recommend a visit.
The location was good for our needs. It's ashamed due to illness the pub isn't functioning as a pub at present.

Simon was very friendly and welcoming. The village is a nice place to stay and explore, very quiet. They were kind enough to prepare us a breakfast sandwich to take away in the morning.
There is no socket for the kettle in the room, which means you have to boil it on the floor or drag an extension lead up to the table. Would have been nice to have real mugs instead of paper cups. Breakfast choice was pretty limited.

It was nothing to do with the property or staff itself but rather I’m hella scared of spiders and it attracts them 😭

the owner/staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
Disappointed we couldn't get an evening meal on the premises. but we were advised of this beforehand, the owner supplied a list of local restaurants and takeaways.

A very comfortable room in an old coaching inn. An excellent breakfast with plenty of tea available.
There couid be some argument for updating the rooms but this would sit uncomfortably with the style of the inn.
