Pros:

Large hotel in a great location. Big rooms with a view over lake.

Cons:

Almost the only person staying there, lacked any atmosphere at breakfast and dinner. WiFi unreliable.

Da fällt mir gar nichts ein, vielleicht noch die etwas harten Matratzen, wobei ich sehr gut geschlafen habe

Amazing location, beautiful and unique
Pros:

We loved the location, the peace once the tourists had gone, and especially all the help we had from Tanja on Reception. She was fantastic. We loved being able to swim so close to the hotel.

Cons:

We felt a bit unwelcome in the restaurant when we arrived at 6.30 for dinner and felt we must rush so the staff could go home.

Cons:

Frühstück war überschaubar was Auswahl und Freundlichkeit des Personals angeht
Die Ausstattung im Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen - was okay ist - aber zumindest die Sicherheit sollte gewährleistet werden. Dir Steckdosen waren zum Teil komplett defekt - wir waren mit Kindern unterwegs - darf nicht sein!!

Molto bella l'ambientazione e l'atmosfera. Bella la posizione e il panorama, vale la pena fare l'esperienza. Camera grande e con tutto il necessario

Cons:

La cucina e il ristorante chiudono presto come un po'tutti nella all'interno del complesso ma sapendolo ci si organizza facilmente.

We want to come back. Best stay we have had.
Pros:

We will come back. This was one of the most amazing stays we ever had. We already miss Naum, Atze, Taina and the monk Donco. We get like family and ate at the restaurant everyday. Amazing breakfast and food was much better than in the offsite restaurants. Waking up to the peacocks in the yard and amazing views was something. If you are on a spiritual journey staying here is a must. We went to all churches. Our kids loved it here. The staff were super nice to our son.

Sehr schöne Lage direkt am See in einem alten Kloster Ensemble.

Cons:

Betten sehr hart und von der Ausstattung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
Restaurant beziehungsweise Küche schließt schon um 19:00 Uhr Auswahl sehr eingeschränkt

Definitely coming back again

It's a wonderful place, so peaceful, great for kids and taking rest. The hotel itself is exactly like the pictures, including the rooms (or apartments, we were in an apartment). Our initial apartment view was the one of the mountains, but since the hotel was mostly empty, they upgraded us to the view of the lake and the monastery (as can be seen in the pictures).
They didn't have heating the first two days as the day we came was the first day they were open, but they gave us a heater that was more than enough for the bedroom which we used most of the time, and they started heating afterwards.
The cleaning ladies were so kind and respectful, and the apartment was pristine. They cleaned every day, we received new towels daily, and they always asked if and when they could come in if we were still inside. The toiletries were also added daily.
The restaurant is nice, but the waiters and bartenders are the best thing in the hotel: they took care of our son every day, played with him, he loved them so much and they adored him in return; I had dietary requirements the first two days, and they always went far and beyond to accommodate me (I was fasting, but in an Orthodox Christian manner). All in all, we already miss them and can't wait to come back again!
