Heel fijn!
Pros:

Je kunt ontbijt vooraf bestellen, maar ook ter plaatse samenstellen. wil je uitgebreid ontbijten, dan kun je naar het naastgelegen mooie restaurant.

Great hotel dreadful staff.

Funky fun hotel in great location

Cons:

We had been on an adventure challenge and so did not have access to the email with check in info. Staff in sister hotel were incredibly unhelpful and incredibly patronising.

Bedompte kleine sfeerloze kamer, zonder extra's.
Pros:

Geen ontbijt inbegrepen voor de prijs van 160 euro per nacht! En als er ontbijt was, alleen maar yoghurt. Niet eens een gebakken ei.

Cons:

Alles. Maar zeker ook de service, die was er niet. Het zelfbedienings'restaurant' bestond uit koffie, thee, en vooral veel zakken chips en chocolade. Ik had niets gegeten en wilde om 11 uur nog iets hartigs eten. Maar er was helemaal niets.

Es ist eine Reise wert! Und Leeuwarden sowieso.
Pros:

Mit digital keys einchecken und alle Türen mit dem Smartphone öffnen! Tolle Sache. Wunderschönes Gebäude, stilvoll eingerichtet, geräumiges Zimmer. Obwohl kein Personal, fühlten wir uns durch die Vorabkommunikation, dem Infoboard und dem Wählscheibentelefon für Notfälle gut umsorgt. Grandioses modernes Konzept.

Cons:

Das wir irgendwann abreisen mussten.

Digital key system was faulty; lovely room but no kettle.
Pros:

Room was clean, comfortable with very fancy decor, good location, quiet, staff very friendly and helpful (though we only had to contact them because of problems with the digital entry key, otherwise we would never have met any staff)

Cons:

Digital phone based check-in and entry system did not work for us...maybe because we came with bikes. No instructions on the website about where to find the bike shed, unclear labelling of the digital keys, and our digital keys for the garden gate and the bike shed just did not work. We were told to Google the phone number of the hotel if there were problems and call them, which we did...a very helpful staff member came in from the Post Room hotel next door and let us in (they are obviously linked hotels, but only one is staffed with humans). It's all about cutting costs obviously, by making the guests do the work, but I'd prefer a more plain room with a kettle, and physical keys that work reliably.
