Pros:

Leuk hotel, centraal gelegen, schoon en moderne look & feel. Alles wordt met een digitale sleutel geopend wat een vloek kan zijn voor ouderen.

Cons:

Het ontbijt is wat karig, met name yoghurt en zoetigheden. Apart was dat de tweede nacht een persoon op de bank verbleef, in de lobby. Maar ja, met weinig of zonder personeel geen controle.

Stylish hotel in a perfect location
Pros:

Stylish hotel in an excellent location in the beautiful city of Leeuwarden. Unless you need to have a contact with staff, everything is done as in a self-service mode, including keys which come in the form of a button on a site accessed with your phone. While this gives a lot of flexibility, it also means that you need to have your phone on you whenever you get out of your room and hotel and it needs to be charged. We did not have a problem but we have seen people who struggled with this. It is not a good solution for guests not fully comfortable with technologies. The room is not huge but has a nice vibe, is stylish and pleasantly decorated. No TV in the room, which was not a problem for us. There is a TV in a communal lounge. Wifi works well. The towels could have been a bit better and the bath towels should have been bigger. We did not take breakfast in the hotel, as there are great coffee shops serving excellent coffee in the city within 5 minutes walk. The communal spaces are also stylish and the building has beautiful inter-war architecture and decor (former post and telecoms building). Overall a very nice experience. We will come back again.

Fijn verblijf, fijne kamer, wel aan de gehorige kant.
Pros:

De kamer is mooi, groot,licht en fijn ingedeeld. Het is van voldoende gemakken voorzien. Het bed ligt er lekker en het is fijn dat er ramen open kunnen, wij zijn zelf niet heel fan van de airco. De ligging is goed en beneden kun je buiten je kamer om goed verblijven.

Cons:

Het hotel is erg gehorig. Onze kamer zat direct verbonden aan de hal van de trap naar boven. Wij konden iedereen die beneden aan de grote tafel een spelletje aan het spelen waren goed horen. Daarnaast verbleef er een groep jonge jongens in het hotel die het blijkbaar heel normaal vonden om tot half 1 met deuren te gooien en door de gangen te rennen. Het is jammer dat hiervoor geen toezicht in het pand aanwezig is. Een andere hotelgast heeft ze later aangesproken.

Wij hadden daarnaast geluk met een kluisje huren maar ik kan me bedenken dat het op drukke momenten aan de lage kant kan zijn met het aantal kluisjes dat beschikbaar is.
