Room was not fresh, sheet and pillows was dirty. Toilet had poo marks/stains.
The reception was good and move me to another room. Was better but sheet had some dirt marks and hair was found on one of the bed. Room was fresh to begin with but musky once the windows closed.
Breakfast choices was poor.

The mattress on the double bed wasn't great so didn't sleep as well as I would have liked. Next time I would book a twin room.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The highlight for us was definitely the garden. It is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and full of character. There is something almost timeless about it, and it felt like the perfect place to sit down with a book and relax for hours.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection of options.
If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be to make the fountain a bit more prominent, as the water flow was quite gentle. A stronger fountain would make the garden even more impressive.
Other than that, everything was fantastic. The garden left a lasting impression on us, and we would be happy to stay here again.
The main area that could use improvement is room maintenance and housekeeping.
While the bed was clean, there was no noticeable dust, and the room generally appeared tidy, a few details stood out. The window sills were visibly dirty and would benefit from more thorough cleaning. The carpet also looked quite worn, and along the edges near the baseboards it appeared that vacuuming had not been fully effective.
The most significant issue was the presence of mold in the shower enclosure. In my opinion, this is less a housekeeping issue and more a maintenance matter. Similar to the condition of the carpet, it seems to be something that management should address through renovation or replacement rather than something that can be solved by daily cleaning alone.
Overall, the room was reasonably clean, but paying more attention to these details and updating some of the older fixtures would noticeably improve the guest experience.
Bardzo miła obsługa, smaczne śniadanie mimo, że wybór ze względu na wielkość kuchni nie był specjalnie duży. Piękny ogród, w którym można się wyciszyć. Wydzielone strefy do palenia.
Obiekt zdecydowanie wymaga remontu. Widać, że personel stara się utrzymać czystość natomiast przez obecny stan podłóg, okien czy łazienek, odbiór czystości może być zaburzony.
A quiet place in the middle of Manchester with a wonderful courtyard garden . Excellent location easy to get to from the motorway.

Close to city in walking distance
Shower was very poor, trickled out cold water in morning. Stains in bath so didn't want to use even though assured on sign it was clean.
Mattress very soft for me. Prefer harder mattress

Quiet and comfortable. Lovely courtyard and grounds. Breakfast was good. I had trouble getting my room serviced despite being there for a week. One staff member was grumpy but the others were nice and helpful. Internet was terrible and since I was working I really needed it. They said that it was being serviced on the first day but should have been fine after that but it wasn’t from my room. Overall I enjoyed the character of the place very much.
