The location is good, very nearby to the town.
1) The parking was very limited due to there was a Bistro and TAB next to the motel, hence everyone of us shared the same parking spot.
2) The room was in a compact size where we were hardly move/walk around at the same time.
3) If you expect a quiet and peace night during your sleeping time, you can skip this accommodation, reason being the music was still playing after 10pm. Also, you can heard people was talking very loud outside your room too.
Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Staff friendly and helful. .
Cold tap in our room didn’t work.
No sink in one of the toilet to wash hands.
Tidy room, greeat communal shower.
During the night, the sounds of what could have been rattling water pipes under pressure occured frequently, and the sund barriers between the loud music and the rooms wasnt great.
It was a cheap bed
Noisy smoking area from the pub attached.
Great water pressure in the shower.
Bathroom was clean.
Wifi was ok at 40-50 mbps.
Very run down cabins.
Mine had a hole in the floor under the carpet and the ceiling was dropping in places.
The main light globe could have been a higher wattage.
The smoke alarm batteries were taken out and the room stunk of cigarette smoke.
Don't know where to start with this one. I obviously was under the impression this was a historic white weatherboard charming building, but it was a grimy Besser block building with an awful smell that hit you as soon as you walked in the front door of the hotel. There were two crack/meth heads getting drunk in the courtyard and shouting things at people that apparently got worse as the afternoon went on. I asked for my money back and went to stay at the Empire Hotel down the road because I didn't feel safe being an older lady too. The room looked basic and clean but also worn and drab...I didn't stick around long enough to get more details.
Everything.
Location, staff, facilities
Pillows,
It was convenient to the things I wanted to do, great little restaurant. Very friendly staff. Easy parking for motorcyclists
Tv reception wasn’t great
Needs a table or somewhere to put your luggage
Nothing
Everything's
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and so accommodating, we were running late and they gave us a couple of late check-in options. The room had been prepared, it was sooo lovely and warm and cozy. The bed was really comfortable. And dinner in the bistro was 👍👌
Really enjoyed our stay at this place. Location is excellent being able to see the historic trains pass by right out the front. Room was very comfortable and heater works well for the room size. It's definitely recommended to stay in this town for 2 full days if you enjoy looking around and learning about the history of Queenstown. The food, staff and service at the bistro was excellent and we ate dinner there both nights. Prices are great and their chef knows what they are doing 👌
Some plates and bowls would be a great addition considering there is a microwave provided but nothing to put food in for heating up or reheating. No exhaust fan in the bathroom makes for a damp environment and cleanliness overall needs to be improved.
Good location for local attractions
Windows blinds are not totally private when closed. The shower drain ran too slow, so had to turn shower flow down to very slow so the bathroom didn't flood.
Breakfast not available at this hotel, however, it was only a short walk to a very good cafe which serves breakfast. Good central location. Accommodation mostly up to expectation.
The unit I was allocated was right on the road and a bit noisy. Also unit required some maintainance - smoke detector was hanging open and battery had been removed. Hand basin was leaking and the bucket underneath was overflowing.
