Won't be rushing back to stay, but one can definitely survive a night or two here.
Pros:

The room was larger than expected, and the hanging basket seat was a good touch. After the disastrous experience of Rameswaram and Tanjore, Puducherry seemed a lot better.

Cons:

A whiff the sewer, like a great many hotels in Tamil Nadu. Don't know what the systematic problem with the grey and black water sewers is...they seem to merge inappropriately close to the buildings. Overpriced for what it offers. Parking could be problematic over the weekends.

Wonderful short stay in very comfy bed
Pros:

Wonderful two night stay in this villa with 4 poster bed that was very comfy! Loved the vintage furniture and floor tiles too. Breakfast was enough for a short stay, south Indian style. Location is very central and the streets are lovely to walk at night. I will definately stay again.

overall for the price it was ok.
Pros:

excellent location,the bedroom was spacious and clean.had a small balcony to step out in to for a smoke. decent rooftop dining

Cons:

the AC leaks on the balcony and sprays a bit during winds. so cant sit on one chair. there are crows flying a round during meal time in the rooftop which is a bit annoying, so if your plate is unattended they will swoop down and make a mess.

Buena habitación, cama cómoda, excelente desayuno, estupenda ubicación.

Cons:

Las sillas del balcón estaban sucias y casi inutilizables. Les pedimos que nos las limpiaran pero nunca lo hicieron en los tres días que estuvimos allí.

Pros:

Excellent location just blocks from the beach and perfect for exploring all of white town on foot! Our room was beautiful clean and full of old world charm. A highlight was definitely swimming at the rooftop pool and taking in the sights. Staff was friendly and attentive to all our needs. Breakfast was basic but good, if you're looking for gourmet breakfast there are many options all around but the free breakfast was just great for our needs.
