Scammed and stressed about credit card security
Pros:

Proximity to town

Cons:

No catering no shower literally noisy aircon single sheet on double bed toxic smelling room sprayed with an allergy inducing spray. No record of our booking credit card charged ( scam of some sort going on either the establishment or listing has been hijacked by scammers collecting payment . Booking . Com need to vet their listing more thoroughly not for me to check out . If the hotel ( resort😂) is listed I should be able to trust . Paid cash to secure the room should have got a receipt but was more concerned with the security of credit number I didn’t think to insist on receipt and so booking . Com won’t help . Rang the bank and cancelled card . All that for the failure that is evident . And I suggest that it was something booking.com knew is happening because an unusual warning appeared in my messages after making the booking . In hindsite I should have immediately cancelled the booking so payment didn’t happen . Once again on a supposed secure booking site such thoughts aren’t immediate .
