A wonderful, relaxing 6 night stay that were memorable.
Pros:

The staff was friendly and very helpful. my husband got sick with a nasty cold and a member of the staff worked hard at getting us an appointment with a doctor in another village the very day we reported that his symptoms were worsening. he was prescribed antibiotics and I attribute the improvement in his health to the lady's efforts who made that appointment. Breakfast was very generous in terms of what was available, the gardens were well kept and inviting. Overall, if we had another opportunity to travel to Dordogne, we would have no hesitation staying at the Vieux Logis again.

We like the location of the property and the unpretentiousness of the building and the grounds…nothing too flashy or modern, except when necessary…nothing too dull or antique, except when appropriate.

Cons:

The overhead shower head needs some attention. I think it might need to be tightened so the the water sprays down, instead of to the side or up.

Beautiful buildings with interesting history. The team were all attentive and welcoming. Our stay was relaxing and the restaurant was exceptional.
