Pros:

Staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and a very comfy bed. Everything was very clean.
The food was beautifully prepared and presented.
Overall excellent and we would happily return in the future.
Very dog friendly. We could even take our dog into one of the dining rooms and there are spacious grounds for exercising complete with bins for poo bags.

Lots of balls, too much bluster.
Pros:

I expect the toilet to work, no not in that room. I expect that if they are going to promote their restaurant so massively they would provide a menu inroom and online, no I had to speak into an answer message to get a menu to be able to eat.
Once I was served did the cod met my expectations, no cod was very bland, the crumble on top was burnt to an inch of existence (black) with par boiled potatoes. It is like the potatoes deserved a better outcome by being baked in sauce and cheese. Not for those potatoes.
Were there adequate bowls for my dog? No, they seem very firm that 1 bowl is enough for a dog. Contrary to my booking which specified 1 bowl for food and 1 bowl for water.
How many times did I have to request below average hospitality, every single time. Tea, sugar, milk for the morning- they'll give you 1 cup of tea with cows milk.

Lovely hotel with very attendtive staff
Pros:

The hotel has a very nice feel to it, the staff are very attentive and pleasant and the surrounding building is in well kept condition

The fish wasnt as crispy as i had hoped and was a bit moist in the centre
