La décoration de intérieure.
Le restaurant sans réservation.

Cons:

Le bruit dans le couloir, à cause du plancher.
L'abattant WC qui ne tient pas.

Bel endroit, cependant trop cher pour les prestations proposées.
Pros:

Les salons et l’escalier sont très beaux.
Accueil sympathique.

Cons:

Le wifi insuffisant dans les chambres.
Le petit déjeuner très décevant surtout pour la partie viennoiseries ( pain au chocolat et gaufres sous plastique).
Literie un peu molle à notre goût.
Rapport qualité /prix décevant.
Établissement isolé, pas de restaurant à proximité immédiate.

Gorgeous historic lodge with well appointed rooms and modern bathrooms
Pros:

Property is gorgeous and well maintained. The double room was great. Bathroom was clean and modern with a spa tub. The staff was extraordinary. The gentleman who checked us in was kind enough to carry my elderly mother’s luggage up the stairs to her room. He also served us dinner in the restaurant (the grilled salmon entree was delicious but the stuffed fig appetizer stole the show). Full Scottish breakfast was delicious as well.

nettes kleines Zimmer in etwas in die Jahre gekommenem, einsamen Haus (sieht auf Fotos besser aus) mit Parkplatz vor der Tür, im Zimmer darf man die Fenster nicht öffnen, weil sonst die Mücken hereinströmen, Haustür wird nachts verschlossen, Abendessen war gut, Frückstück ok – ein wirklich freundicher Mann tat alles, er war Rezeptionist, Kellner, Frühstücksmacher etc. und der Gewinn der Unterkunft

Pros:

Empezando por el edificio, era precioso, la ubicación era espectacular. Por dentro estaba limpio y muy bien decorado. Las cenas estaban deliciosas y las habitaciones eran amplias y cómodas. Lo mejor el chico del hotel, un encanto de persona, hizo que la estancia fuera un sueño. Poder volver sería maravilloso!!!

Fantastische locatie in een magnifiek historisch kader. Het gebouw ademt een heel bijzondere sfeer uit. Behoorlijk prijzig, maar zeker een uitzonderlijke ervaring!

Prijs van de hotelkamer is veel en veel te duur voor wat je ervoor krijgt.
Cons:

Warm ontbijt was oké, maar croissants waren slap en taai en leken wel uit een plastic verpakking gehaald te zijn. Boter was zo zacht, dat hij bijna uit de verpakking kwam. Veel voorverpakte items. Zeer karig voor zo'n duur hotel. Wel stoffen tafellakens, maar papieren servetjes.
Op de hoofdeinde van de bedden lagen de stofvlokken nog. Geen douchegel aanwezig, alleen shampoo.
Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding zeer beneden de maat.
