We will not return to The Ashok as it did not meet our standards.
Pros:

The room was not clean to a satisfactory standard.
The bedding and towels did not seem clean. My daughter was bitten by mosquitos in the room during our stay.

There was no hot water in bathroom for 2 dsys. I had complained with house keeping and reception. Today i was given hot water in bucket. Not expected thisvfrom property like Ashok

Pros:

Beautiful property, huge spaces and lot of history to the place.
Large and spacious room. Good restaurants.
Room service too was very efficient

Cons:

1. All the pillows are too large. Not used to them.
Finally had to sleep without any.

2. Lighting in the toilet. It was too poor, especially for the mirror area. Not enough light to shave.

3. Lighting in the room also can do with improvement.

comfortable, safe but rooms were a disappointment.
Pros:

Hotel has provided complimentry cake, drinks, fruits and biscuits which we liked most. Property location was good and peaceful. Security was excellent. Staff were very helpful.

Cons:

Property is not maintained nicely. Maintenance in the room does not match with the property fame.. Matresses were quite old, not holding firm shape.

Location is the only plus everything else is not even worthy of 1 star.

Dirty Rooms, bathroom towels were like 100 year old, full of damp smell, ciggrate smoke in corridors, buffet breakfast was very poor quality food, tried one of the resturant called Oudh for dinner,it was absolutely disgusting food with extortionate prices, the only nice thing was a dessert.

Every early morning reception and entrance was full of drunken teeagers and hookers.
