Experience was bad
Pros:

The breakfast was ok bacon bed was comfortable

Cons:

The room was to small very small shower cubicle was way to small could not move in there me and my partner had problems getting into it and we are not rearly big people will not be staying there again that's a fact not worth £96 per night window did not open never again and one member of staff was very nasty thought I came in from outside to use the toilet on about drug dealers coming in to use the toilet made me feel very unwelcome my partner cut her toe on step getting into shower hotel is very overated

Lovely Overnight Stay
Pros:

Location is excellent, onside parking & shops, pubs & restaurants close by. Nice plated full English breakfast with a choice of alternatives if desired. Have stayed before & will be staying again

Great place in the Low Town... with a cozy bar and great breakfast
Pros:

Really good spot with parking onsite which doesn't cost extra. Staff were all lovely and the manager was particularly helpful. Room was clean and tidy and served us well. Breakfast was amazing and served in a grand room to the rear of the building

Cons:

Everything in the hotel 'creaked' meaning moving around the room... corridors...opening a door...meant disturbing someone...or someone disturbing you. It's an older building of course so has to be forgiven

Pros:

We have stayed before so had some knowledge when we booked. Location was great as we were attending a function just down the road.Room was spacious and bright with a four poster bed ! Parking is a bit tight but if there are no spaces left they have an arrangement with the co-op car park next door ( which is then free). Our room lacked a shower but we knew that when we booked.
Overall our stay was good and the breakfast was nice .

Cons:

Mattress on the bed desperately needs replacing. Springs were digging in my leg during the night. Table needed a wipe at breakfast and the room door lock was dodgy.

Friendly, hotel in a convenient location
Pros:

Great central location with parking. Friendly and very helpful staff made us feel at home. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and with a choice of Chamomile tea which is always a plus for me.

Cons:

Not much really. The TV in the room is a bit tiny, but we didn't visit to watch TV. The Sausages at breakfast could have been a bit tastier, and I missed having mushrooms but the rest of the food was great.
