Had a really nice holiday
Pros:

Very clean, room serviced daily, lovely kind thoughtful staff. Great breakfast choices, good restaurant. Dog friendly. Garden room was perfect with the dog as able to let out into an enclosed garden.

Cons:

Beds and sofa uncomfortable, sofa uncomfortably. Chairs on decking need replacing as broken and paint peeling off. They need cushions too.

Good enough
Pros:

Room was pretty spacious and bed was comfortable

Cons:

Bathroom had a bad/blocked drain smell, and there were several flies flying around the room. I was only staying one night, so didn’t report this, as I just wanted to sleep.
It would be obvious to any housekeeper there was a problem so I don’t feel needed to report it.

Agréable et dépaysant
Pros:

Ambiance globale "relax", locaux vastes et pratiques, piscine sympa dans un beau jardin, chambre très bien décorée et équipée, restauration type "bistro" bonne et bien servie, emplacement idéal pour visiter l'île à pieds, en bus (arrêt bien desservi devant l'hôtel) ou en voiture

Cons:

Malgré une bonne isolation phonique dans la chambre on perçoit malgré tout quelques bruits de pas du niveau supérieur et les bruits de la route, même si au global c'est très supportable

The location was good

The lack of cleanliness, the lack of clear communication, unwillingness to compromise and make sure guests are well catered for and to receive what they have paid for.really can not understand how they are getting the good reviews below. Would not recommend as i feel people would be definitely disappointed

Fijne sfeer, mooi gebouw, aardig personeel, mooie kamer en leuk terras.

Cons:

Er was alleen luxaflex en geen gordijnen in de kamer. Tetwijl er veel licht aan was buiten. Daardoor, was het in de kamer te licht in de nacht.

Pros:

Nous étions déjà venus il y a trois ans, ce n'est donc pas un hasard si nous avons de nouveau choisi cet hôtel ! Et tout a été aussi bien que la première fois - et même mieux, dans la mesure où nous avons pu bénéficier d'une chambre plus grande et avec accès au petit jardin clos derrière ! De plus, le personnel s'est montré extrêmement aidant pour résoudre nos petits soucis d'organisation avec nos traversées vers ou depuis Alderney : nous recommandons absolument ! (Et le restaurant est toujours aussi bon !)

Lovely place to stay and I would stay there again.
Pros:

The rooms were a good size and clean. The breakfast selection was very good and always plenty to eat. We had several evening meals in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. The stall were always extremely helpful.

Cons:

We had a room at the front of the hotel next to the road. Sometimes it was a bit noisy due to traffic, but we were aware of this prior to booking so were expecting it.
There is a large car park, however it can get a bit busy if there is a function on.

Pros:

De tuinkamer was ruim en het was geweldig om de omheinde tuin te gebruiken met onze honden! De locatie is goed onderhouden en sfeervol. Personeel deskundig en vriendelijk. Ontbijt goed en vlot (wel een beetje jammer dat je voor een verblijf van 250 euro per nacht nog een menukaart voor het ontbijt krijgt waarbij een deel tegen meerprijs is). Diner ook een aanrader.

Cons:

Het werd steeds erg warm in de kamer vanwege het glas. Een parasol of zonwering zou helpen! Verder had ik het attent gevonden als er aandacht was besteed aan mijn verjaardag (die viel tijdens ons verblijf) maar we hebben het zelf goed gevierd :-)
