There is nothing bad about this place at all
LOVED this place! We stayed 20th- 22nd for my birthday and to catch up with family. Had the loveliest time, from the moment we arrived to our departure. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming (shout out to Bianca and Denim), and we loved the whole ethos of the hotel and the leisure facilities. The pool was great, though very busy, and the other facilities looked good.
The location was a pleasant surprise, with so many "must do" places within walking distance.
I can't recommend this hotel enough. We will be back!

Fantastic location for walking along the canals, lots of bars and restaurants around and also very walkable into the city centre. Also on the free number 1 bus route.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
I used the swimming pool and wish I had brought a run kit as the gym looked great too.
Things that would have made my stay more comfortable: a plug socket near the bed, a reading light, again, near the bed and a fridge. Although staff had no issue letting me take pint glasses of ice up to the room. I also couldn’t access the hotel WiFi in my room, but was able to hop onto the Science museum’s network.

What a find. Gem of a place. Just a lovely place to stay. Staff are incredible and so helpful and friendly. Rooms comfy. Bar and terrace lovely. Swimming and gym and great. Real community and personal feel about the hotel.

Loved the location, the swimming pool and the facilities.
No air con and beds were not very comfortable.
Check in was quick and easy. The location is perfect for Castlefield Bowl and the surrounding bars. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
There are no fans in the room. When it's hot, you either have to keep the windows closed or suffer the noise of the street with the window open. It's on a busy road, so the noise is constant, fast cars, large vehicles. If it's hot when you stay, try to take a fan with you.
