un buen hotel para visitar Oaxaca y sus alrededores
Pros:

El personal super amable, las instalaciones nuevas y muy agradables las áreas comunes (la terraza y las vistas que tiene desde ahí, las pequeñas salas que hay en cada piso). Creo que todo excelente, por el costo del hotel vale la pena considerarlo en una próxima visita.

Cons:

El baño dentro de la habitación un poco estrecho, así como la caja de seguridad muy pequeña (no cabía mi computadora), la zona donde esta el hotel esta la calle un poco obscura por el cual creo no ser conviene salir de noche caminando.

Perfect stay with modern style and amenities.
Pros:

Loved the modern design. I also loved the staff. Very helpful and happy people.

Cons:

The shower leaked; it wouldn’t turn off fully- so you would hear it drip especially at night when the world was quiet.

Pros:

Estaba limpio y en buen estado, relativamente cerca a la zona de restaurantes y los sitios turísticos, pero no es la mejor ubicación para quedarse como turista y es un alojamiento básico. De cualquier manera, está acorde precio-calidad y no hay ninguna mentira en la descripción en booking.

El personal súper atento y amable. Además muy cómodo y acogedor. Hasta hay cafecito y té de regalo.
A mi esposo y a mí, nos gustó mucho el hotel, además de que la decoración era muuuy linda. El bañito acogedor y, algo sp destacable es que si te agarraron las prisas y no planchaste, en tu habitación tienes una plancha.
E igual, algo para añadir que por cuestiones ajenas a nuestra voluntad tuvimos que modificar las fechas de nuestro viaje y nos comunicamos muy rapido y lograron atenderlo sp rápido. Aún antes de llegar al hotel ya estábamos encantados con la atención y al llegar, no fue la excepción.
Ojito: Esta a 7 cuadras de la ADO, asi que puedes irte caminando si llegas a Oaxaca en bus.

Un pequeño hotel para una gran experiencia
Pros:

Realmente es un lugar muy agradable. Es la tercera vez que me hospedo en Casa Cantera y siempre es una gran experiencia, no solo el lugar y las instalaciones sino la amabilidad de su personal.

Hübsche Eingangshalle/Empfang mit netter Kunst etc. Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr sperrig eingerichtet. Wirken kalt wie eine Nacht im Kloster. Man könnte hier die nette Dekoration von der Eingangshalle fortsetzen. Räume sind jedoch groß und man hat was man braucht.

Kleines Bad mit kaum Ablagefläche, seltsames Waschbecken & Wasserhahn, Wasser spritzt entgegen

Lage & Lautstärke. Ja man braucht nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß ins Zentrum aber die Lage ist leider eine absolute Katastrophe. Das Hotel liegt ein paar Meter von einer wirklich lauten Hauptstraße entfernt mit einem Krankenhaus, welches vielleicht 30 Meter entfernt ist (andauernde Sirenen - im Sekunden/Minutentakt). Direkt gegenüber ist eine Schule. Der Verkehr geht fast die ganze Nacht und den ganzen Tag. Ab 6 Uhr morgens wird die Kreuzung/ der Verkehr mit lautem Pfeifen geregelt. Ab 7 beginnt das Chaos bei der Schule. Bis spät in die Sirenen und dauerhaftes Hupen, lautes Angasen und Auspuffe. Wir haben von 4 Nächten zwei nicht geschlafen und die anderen zwei miserabel. Erst gegen 2 Uhr morgens kehrt etwas Ruhe ein, jedoch hält diese bis höchstens 5 Uhr. Dass das Hotel komplett offen ist hilft der Isolierung auch nicht unbedingt. Auch der Gang ist wahnsinnig hellhörig jedoch wird das fast vom Straßenlärm übertönt. Es war wirklich eine dauerhafte Lärmbelästigung. Ich möchte zusätzlich betonen das nicht mal Oropax sowie noise cancelling Kopfhörer den Lärm ausblenden konnten. Oaxaca ist wirklich eine so entzückende Stadt leider konnten wir aufgrund des Schlafmangels unseren Aufenthalt wirklich kaum genießen. Als ich gefragt habe ob wir Zimmer wechseln können denn unsere gebuchten Zimmer 206 & 207 lagen straßenseitig mit Außenfenster - hieß es es ist in allen Zimmern gleich laut. Wirklich schade weil wir das Hotel ausschließlich aufgrund der guten Bewertungen auf booking.com gebucht haben auf denen es hieß es sei ruhig gelegen. Vielleicht passt es für Menschen die extremen dauerhaften Straßenlärm gewohnt sind.

Französisches Bett. Wir haben zwei Zimmer gebucht weil die Betten wirklich winzig aussahen auf den Bildern und das waren sie dann auch. Passt für eine Person, definitiv zu klein für zwei.

Preis Leistung. Für über 90€ die Nacht ohne Frühstück und extreme Lärmbelästigung sehr schlechtes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Pros:

I enjoyed my staying at this hotel. It was clean all the time, the room was small but spacious to move around. Clean towels every day (thank you !) A little noise in the early mornings since it is very close to a congested avenue but nothing critical. At night it was the opposite and the room was dark, perfect for a good night sleep. I was there in a low season. February 2026.
