Great location and staff team but facilities tired. £90 price tag was high for the offer.
Pros:

Location and staff.

Cons:

The facilities and room felt tired. The electric vehicle charging is for the whole services. They are building many more and Tesla already done, but currently only 2 for all users of a busy services. No air conditioning so in May heatwave relied on a fan which in a small room with window restrictors was unpleasant. Lack of plugs by beds, room was small, TV not internet connected yet a smart tv! The price and marketing suggested premium but other roadside offers cheaper and better quality.

Great for access, not so good for a night rest
Pros:

Location and availability for family of four

Cons:

Room very small, during a heat wave, no AC, only a loud fan. Not a good night rest. Bathroom not properly cleaned, hair in the shower.

Pros:

Shower was good. Room was quiet considering proximity to motorway

Cons:

Broken heating/air con on one of hottest days of year. Had to use a noisy fan all night.

Room and bathroom smelt like sewage, presumably dodgy plumbing.

One side of bed the bedside lights did not work, the other side of the bed the socket did not work.

Rooms VERY basic considering the price.

You cant check in until 3pm. Turned up about 1pm to inform staff that we would be checking in after 23:30 which they ask you to do, presumably so they dont give the room away. We were on our way to a wedding so could not wait until 3pm.

No staff anywhere to be seen except a chef who seemed confused by our turning up to tell him we would not check in til very late. Further confusion over parking since we had to explain at lenght that we were leaving in our car to come back later so unless he took the registration there and then we would be getting a fine from the ANPR. Eventually he got it. Asked if we could leave bags somewhere til later. Told to dump them on the floor behind the bar which would be fine 'because there's a camera'. We declined.

Hotel is very shabby, both rooms and corridors and public area
