Nothing really.
The Aircon didn't work. The fridge didn't work. Half the menu or food and drinks were not available. There was a 40 min wait on food in the restaurant despite it being empty. And a double power socket was hanging out with the power cable exposed presenting a significant fatal health risk. No compensation was offered when I tried to address the issues with the hotel at the time.
It was convenient for where I needed to be & good that there were shops etc on the same site. The staff were helpful & pleasant. The bed was comfortable.
The communal areas were looking a bit tired. Delivery or laundry trolleys were very loud early in the morning (woke me up).
There were 2 males & a big dog sitting on the steps outside the main reception area … they were smoking & they & the dog were in the way each time I wanted to enter or exit the hotel … they didn’t seem to want to move much to let me pass by … I found it unsettling. The staff said they were aware of them & that it wasn’t good, but told me they were visiting someone who was staying at the hotel- I feel they should have been asked to move from there as it wasn’t a nice situation for hotel guests.
I feel the price was rather high for a budget mid week stay.

We could bring our dog with us, free parking, breakfast in the morning, we also checked in very late with no problem at all . Very friendly staff, clean place.
