Breakfasts were good with plenty variation
Could not get bbc on television
Great location just off A1 close to lots of attractions and Newcastle and Sunderland. Friendly staff happy to give us early check-in. It was my birthday and when room was cleaned chocolate cake and fruit was left. plenty of free parking.
Double bed seemed really small and very soft

The room was a bit exiguous for a coupe and a child.

Lovely comfortable bed and room . Very clean . Excellent it has a hair dryer and ironing board . Also loved that check out was at 12 on weekends .
No bottled water in bedroom or biscuits .
I tasted the water in the evening which had being at reception all day and evening was disgusting. Surely should be changed . The lemons in the lemon water had seen its days .
The Illy espresso machine was a nice touch as were the wide selection of teas and coffees.
The mattress was just right and the quality of the bed linen was impeccable as were the pillows.
There was a bath and when in shower mode the shower was really powerful.
The curtains were sufficient to black out the room if desired.
There was also an on site gym and a restaurant and parking was free.

Fast check in and check out, staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, room service was spot on.
