Pratique et agréable
Pros:

L’emplacement et l’aller retour programmé à l’aéroport était facile et pratique.
Petit déjeuner super et lieu très beau

Cons:

Il y avait une coupure de courant et pas de générateur pour prendre le relai donc pas de chauffage. De plus le prix du taxi prévu a été augmenté et nous n’avons pas été prévenus (la taxi fait parti du lodge)
Nous n’avons rien dit c’est en relisant les messages que nous nous en sommes aperçus.

Pros:

Passamos uma noite o Avante Garde Lodge. A localização do hotel é ótima para quem está em trânsito - 20min do aeroporto de Joanesburgo.
O hotel também fica próximo do shopping Harvest Place, uma opção para passar o tempo e ter uma boa refeição.
Conseguimos chamar Uber com facilidade e rapidez, o que facilitou bastante a locomoção.
O quarto era muito silencioso, contribuindo para uma estadia tranquila.
Cama e chuveiros muito bons.
O café da manhã foi ótimo, com boa variedade e qualidade. Além disso, o grande destaque fica para a equipe: todos foram muito gentis, atenciosos e prestativos durante a nossa estadia.
No geral, tivemos uma boa experiência, principalmente pelo atendimento e estrutura oferecida.

Cons:

Como ponto de melhoria, destaco a ausência de porta entre o quarto e o banheiro, o que compromete bastante a privacidade.

The first and the last visit at the same time, I will pick another location at my next visit.
Pros:

Nice garden, comfortable bed.

Cons:

- There was a shower head missing for the first day.
- On the last day, when returned to my room, the door was open, wet rug from bathroom was on my bed together with wet towels. Apparently the crew was in a hurry that they forgot to replace towels and clean the rug.
- I have never received a bottle of water except the first day, despite my requests and promises from reception.
- I had to ask several times to get the invoice and personal intervention of my local colleague was necessary to receive it finally - never leave the place without the invoice in your hand, otherwise you’ll not get it.

A very convenient stay
Pros:

We used the lodge as an overnight stop after 9 hours of driving and a morning flight out of Johannesburg. Therefore, it was convenient that we could have supper at the lodge and that breakfast started at 6 am.
The rooms are fine and the lodge has a nice garden. The staff is helpful and efficient.
The lodge is situated only 9 K from the airport.

Great location and best breakfast we’ve had on this trip.
Pros:

The facilities were very clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and the service was top notch.

The room did not have any heat and it was 25 degrees Fahrenheit. Burrr.
