Pros:

Everything about the hotel,food,staff,facilities etc. If you want a peaceful restful holiday and don't want to go anywhere it's the perfect restful location

Cons:

Not alot to do in the surrounding area,one track roads had to do alot of travelling to different towns.

Everything was perfect. Location etc . The only thing that disappointed me was the breakfast. I
Found it greasy but dry somehow. I left most of it on my plate. The staff did not seem concerned that I had left most of my food.

Worked well for one night while passing through on a cycle trip.
Pros:

Modern building with good facilities. Room size ok but room too warm and window only opened partly.

Cons:

Lacking soul, the whole place was functional but didn’t give a vibe that made you feel special. Bar and eating areas very underwhelming

Good option for a stop over
Pros:

The hotel was in the perfect position for our stop over
The room was comfortable and clean

Cons:

We thought it was a little expensive and the room we were given had a view of a fence which was not the loch or mountain view we expected. Had we been staying longer than one night we would have asked for an alternative room.
The room did not provide all the facilties indicated ie coffee machine
One of the reasons for booking this hotel was that it had a pool - we did not use it in the end as it cost extra which is not indicated on Booking.com

Pros:

The hotel was immaculately clean and tidy and the grounds were nice.

Cons:

They are grossly understaffed in the restaurant and bar, and the food was dreadful.

The lady who checked us is was stand offish, seemed fed up. She did crackers a smile and talk later in the day however.

The place was very relaxing but adding more charges onto things that used to be free is a lit down.
Pros:

It was warm and we loved the scenery.

Cons:

Unfortunately, they changed the breakfast style. Before it was included in the price, same as the gym and swimming pool. If we had a spare time in the late afternoon after exploring the great outdoors, we used to go to the swimming pool even just an hour to relax but it is all changed now. I’m sorry to tell you all this but cooked breakfast was very dry even the bacon, sausages and the tomatoes. It looks like it’s been left in the oven to keep warm for the other guests to order but it’s totally dried out.
