Breakfast was excellent.
Room was clean very comfortable bed but would not book on the third floor again, the room was in the eves & had to be careful not to bump your head! Breakfast very good along with sandwiches but evening meals a bit disappointing.
Evening meal disappointing! Plenty of choice but quality not so good especially the steak which was pricey & turned up more like a minute steak.
We didn’t have breakfast but the evening meal was fine plenty of choice
The sink in the bathroom didn’t hold water but apart from that it was fine. The weather was extremely hot but there was a fan supplied in the room
Breakfast ,good choicer, friendly service. Room comfortable, clean. Dinner good choice, friendly service
This was a great location for a nearby party, we could walk or take quick 2 minute ride. The main hotel / pub is very nice, cute and while we didn't eat there, were told by friends the food is very good. We did have drinks and they were good :) One night we wanted to get a taxi, but they wouldn't come that far for a short ride, so one of the guys at the pub drove us, which was very kind. The bed was pretty comfortable.
We were there during a heat wave, which was brutal. I know it wasn't their fault of course! The room was compact which was fine. It had a fan but the room at night was SO much hotter than the outside air....and we were told these rooms were cooler. We left the door and one window open for an hour before bed just so we could breathe. We didn't sleep much. Housekeeping didn't even come and refill the tea and coffee the second day, give us more towels either day...and we had to use some for the floor because the water from the shower went everywhere, one of those flat showers. We went to the desk twice but no one was there. I wanted to say something about the bathroom when I left, but we had to run. It STUNK, there is obviously some kind of mildew issue and possibly a towel rack leaking water. The smell was so bad. I know this is a small local place but you have to sort the bathroom issue....others have complained.
Good location, clean, well set out. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Food was excellent, an excellent 2 days. Very good value for money.
