Wunderschöne Anlage – eine Nacht war zu wenig!
Pros:

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht im Lolu Village Resort – viel zu kurz, um diese schöne Unterkunft richtig genießen zu können. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer in einem Häuschen, eines im Erdgeschoss und eines im Obergeschoss, was für uns perfekt war.

Besonders gut gefallen haben uns der gepflegte Swimmingpool, die ruhige Lage und die gesamte Atmosphäre der Anlage. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker, und das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen – reichhaltig, frisch und abwechslungsreich.

Alles war ausgesprochen sauber, und wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Bei einem nächsten Besuch in Anuradhapura würden wir auf jeden Fall länger bleiben und sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Pros:

This is a beautiful property with a lovely pool and comfortable rooms. Staff were incredibly helpful - booked trip to Wilpattu for us and arranged tuk tuks and bike hire for us. Food was great.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt ca. 15 min außerhalb der Stadt. In nächster Nähe gibt es kaum Infrastruktur. Jedoch verfügt das Hotel über ein Restaurant, wo man ganztägig Speisen und Getränke kaufen kann. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker.

Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam.
Für uns wurden 2x ein Tuktuk Fahrer für einen Halbtages-Ausflug organisiert.

Der Pool ist groß und gepflegt. Es gibt dort eine Umkleide sowie eine Toilette.

Cons:

Im Zimmer gibt es keinen Schrank o.Ä. Man muss also aus dem Koffer leben.

In unserem Zimmer war leider die Toilette nicht so toll. Alles hat gewackelt und die Klobrille war nicht fest montiert.

Es gibt zwar Holz-Liegen am Pool, jedoch werden keine Auflagen bereitgestellt. Für uns ein No-Go.

Da das Hotel sehr ländlich liegt, hört man abends und morgens viele Tiere (Vögel, Frösche, Zikaden, Pfau, etc. )

Um 5 Uhr morgens hört man ziemlich stark die Pirit-Gesänge, welche gern mal 45min. dauern können (dafür kann aber das Hotel natürlich nichts)

Pros:

Hôtel correct, dans l’ensemble propre, la piscine est sympa.

Cons:

Cependant quelques éléments montre un manque d’entretien, poignée de SDB cassé, clim qui fuit, toilette qui bouge, carreaux piscine en moins.

Pros:

Lugnt, bra mat, skönt med en fin pool. Merparten av personalen var supertrevliga.

Cons:

En i personalen kollade högljudd på mobilen nära vårt bord medan vi åt. Det uppskattade vi inte.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here
Pros:

Great pool, comfy bed and pillows, amazing towels, very clean room and grounds, staff were friendly and very helpful when needed anything including arranging transportation

Cons:

The included breakfast was limited to white bread and eggs prepared different ways. They did provide juice and tea and coffee and if requested fruit.
Some cushions on the chairs around the pool would have been great.
Request a room upstairs if staying here. If someone is above you the noise travels down including when they are walking up the stairs to get their room.

Great location, friendly and attentive staff, a variety of tasty food, clean and fabulous pool,
Pros:

Peaceful location set away from the hustle and bustle but near enough to visit the temples.
The staff were super kind and attentive but not overbearing.
The food was amazing. Breakfast was huge with a mix of Sri Lanka & Continental. Evening meal choice was really varied and was absolutely delicious.
I had deluxe room and it was spacious and clean with lovely views of the gardens. There was a little frog in the room tha must have snuck under door but I never saw him again. There were no bugs in my room. TV with English channels and a kettle made me feel right at home!
In the mornings and evenings the birdsong was amazing.
The pool was fantastic and big enough to have a decent swim. Such a bonus in the heat and really made the stay special.
Would 100% recommend this beautiful, simple, clean boutique hotel if visiting the area for a few days or as a base for a longer trip. I would definitely stay again when returning to the area.
The driver that was with me said the food was great and he was very happy with his stay too.

Na uitchecken deed de eigenaar niet moeilijk over nog zwemmen in het zwembad en gebruik maken van faciliteiten, wat superfijn was na een warme dag bij de tempels.

Cons:

Hotel ligt afgelegen, dat is iets om rekening mee te houden.
