Well located pub with rooms
Pros:

The location

Cons:

Our room was unbearably hot despite cooler weather. The food was average pub food
The breakfast was only average
Overall we thought the cost was very high for what was on offer
This is a pub with rooms rather than a boutique hotel

Beautiful dog friendly hotel with lovely staff and great food.
Pros:

Gorgeous building with exceptional views. Very friendly staff with wonderful food. We had plenty of space in our two bed and loved that it was dog friendly

Cons:

The room while fresh and tidy could use a deep clean.

A mixed bag.
Pros:

The situation and aspect of the hotel is excellent.

Cons:

Communication. There was a problem with the dog friendly aspect of the hotel where we had booked a dog-friendly room - and spent time checking that we had booked a dog friendly room - only to find that we hadn’t got a dog friendly room when we actually arrived. Some of the staff went out of their way to help us with the issue. Thank you to those staff members who helped us.

The hotel and staff were amazing just the room size was too small
Pros:

Classic style was peaceful and close to the beach

Cons:

The Room I was given was 3m square with a shower room on the side, I wish I had been warned of this and would have booked something else , I did ask when we were shown but wasn’t offered an alternative considering it was nearly £400 for two nights

Very disappointed. This hotel does not deserve your money until they sort his situation out.
Pros:

The main hotel seemed like a great place to stay.

Cons:

I was given a tiny room that was in a building ghat wast part of the main hotel.the room was tiny - not even enough room for a wardrobe so o had to leave all my things on the floor. The bed was uncomfortable and with no a/c and it was during a very hot spell. There was an electric fan but as the window opened onto a car park, I didn’t open it so the fan was pretty useless.
I wish o had taken photos to share but this room was no
More than a large broom cupboard and should not have been sold as somewhere to sleep. I feel that the greed of the hotel
Management is impacting the brand of what I’m sure is a decent hotel. I made a complaint when I check x out and was told it would be followed up by the hotel manager and, no surprise, nothing happened.

Lovely staff, perfect location, good food.
Pros:

This is our second stay, the first time in March 2025 for our wedding anniversary. This time it was a last minute booking and we chose this venue because we enjoyed it so much last time.

Cons:

Only one small complaint (though I don't like using the word complaint). We normally drink tea at breakfast but don't like making our own with water that's not boiling. We decided to have coffee instead but we didn't care for the coffee in the urn.

A pot of tea each (we drink different tea) would have made everything 100% perfect but it didn't spoil our break as, of course, we could make our own tea in our room.

A wonderful place to celebrate a special anniversary.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. We were extremely lucky to be upgraded to the Wight room which had a stunning view looking straight towards the Needles across the Solent. Breakfast was excellent. Lovely outdoor space and very easy access for a walk along the coastal path.

Cons:

Nothing
