Comfortable and convenient to enjoy exploring the New Forest
Pros:

The stuff we are hopeful and accommodating. The location was close to town. The room was very comfortable.

Cons:

It is a pub, so some of the accomodation rooms sit right on the public beer garden area which made it noisy. The room decor and furniture could be updated to make a little more functional.

Pros:

Excellent location. Easy access to public transport, train and bus. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and varied menu. Dog friendly. Nice outdoor area with bar and pizza bar.

A really good find!!
Pros:

The Huntsman is a really good place to stay.
The meal in the evening was superb. The breakfast, we only had coffee and croissants, was delicious! I would really recommend this place. The staff too were delightful. Thank you.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing. It could do with a bit of an upgrade in the bathroom. But nothing wrong with the hotel at all.

Friendly staff

Cons:

We booked a "superior family room" - there was no small fridge which is useful when the room is dog friendly. Their food can be stored , and opened food can be kept easily. Especially during the high temperatures that we had during our stay.

Pros:

A great place to stay when visiting the New Forest. A very popular pub with rooms and a restaurant. Had a great room( Quail), beautifully decorated and relaxing, situated away from the main pub, able to relax in the private courtyard. Full English Breakfast recommended, delicious!!!. Great coffee too!
Staff and managers were really friendly, and took the time to have conversations, so nice to see genuine, lovely, friendly people, bit of a rarity these days. !
Train station a 5 mins walk away.
Easy to catch train to other destinations ie: Lymington( definately a visit).etc..
Would definitely recommend staying, to Family and friends.

Pros:

A real lovely setting the dog friendly rooms are a real wonderful surprise. Great food, great breakfast the whole thing was a top experience.

Cons:

Prices were expensive but you were paying for the obvious extra quality that was provided.
