Good for one night when they don’t come with new linnen

Tolles verlängertes Wochenende mitten in Staufen in einem Hotel, welches alles bietet.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, gross und mit allem Wichtigen ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war schön präsentiert, reichhaltig und alles von sehr guter Qualität. Kostenloses Parkieren war ebenfalls möglich. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Die Lage mitten in Staufen ist super. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis absolut top. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Cons:

Ich wusste nicht, dass bei der Ankunft niemand vor Ort war. Der Schlüssel war jedoch deponiert und alles hat geklappt. Hätte ich gewusst, dass die Rezeption bei meiner Ankunft nicht besetzt ist, hätte ich vorher kurz angerufen um z.B. die Situation betreffend dem Parkieren zu klären. Hat aber alles trotzdem gut funktioniert.

Sehr schönes Hotel in toller Lage

Sehr gute Lage, schöne Zimmer, tolles Essen

Cons:

Es war in den Zimmern unterm Dach recht warm. Aber da es ein älteres Hotel is kann ich verstehen dass es keine Klimaanlage gibt.

Rundum zufrieden!
Pros:

Wir kommen zum wiederholten Mal und sind sehr zufrieden: Das Hotel liegt wunderbar zentral in der Altstadt in Staufen. Die Zimmer sind groß und es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Besonders attraktiv ist der großzügige Balkon mit Blick auf die Burg. Und das Team der Krone ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Danke!

Pros:

Es war ein wundervoller Urlaub. Zimmer war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man brauch. Beim Frühstück war für jeden etwas dabei.

Gerne wieder
Pros:

Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit Traumblick auf die Burgruine.
Die Parkplatzlösung ist genial, hatte ich bisher noch nirgends in Deutschland. Lage perfekt in der Fußgängerzone

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück

Badezimmertücher sind in die Jahre gekommen-ausgefranst, löchrig. Weil es sehr heiss war, haben wir im Korridor selber gelüftet; man hatte den Eindruck, dass niemand fürs Haus zuständig war (etwas verwaist)

This facility offers amazingly good accommodations in just the most charming of quaint towns.
Pros:

This was our favorite BnB and favorite town in all of our travels throughout Bavaria.

Cons:

I didn't like the difficult communication that led to misunderstandings about parking. The property is in a pedestrian zone, and so I was unclear on how to approach the property by car. We had our troubles, but the owner came to our rescue, and everything worked out wonderfully. We should also thank his mom.

Krone Staufen D: sehr zu empfehlen, hervorragend!
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und sehr gut.
Die Möglichkeit, mit einer Parkbescheinigung des Hotels auf allen öffentlichen Parkplätze gratis parkieren zu können, ist aussergewöhnlich und hat mich sehr gefreut.

Lovely location for a comfortable stay
Pros:

Honest accommodation in a prime position. Our room at the rear of the building was spacious and the bed comfortable. The en-suite was looking a bit tired, but it was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was a simple breads, pastries, cereals, fruits, meats and cheeses affair and absolutely fine.

It's difficult to give a fuller appraisal as we arrived on a Sunday afternoon when there are no staff on duty and the restaurant is closed (which we knew when booking).

Cons:

Communication by email was erratic, and non-existent until a friend in Germany chased them up by phone for me. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon when no staff are on duty and we had a nervous few minutes when it transpired that they had changed the code they told us they would use for the secure key box and we initially couldn't retrieve our keys. There are a couple of parking spaces to the rear of the building but access is very tight.
