Due to my sister's view of Jo'burg as dangerous we never went out on foot but enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Food at breakfast and dinner were good and receptionists helpful.

Cons:

Some waiting staff, where relevant, did not seem as well trained as we'd have liked. Website picture of exterior of hotel seemed to make it look better than it really was. Removal of towels and later replacement was inconvenient when I came into the room after breakfast and found no towels. I would have been quite happy to retain the same towels for 3 nights for environmental benefit but this did not seem to be on offer.

My stay was without events. Quiet and peaceful.
Pros:

The breakfast was ordinary. Similar to other hostels, with limited fruit variety, I.e. only an apple on Tueday, and an orange on Wednesday.

Cons:

My white sheet on Monday was clean, but had dried blood stains.
Please refund me for paying for Dinner for 2 which I did not eat on Tuesday.
