Probably one of the best hotels in svalbard
Pros:

Helpful staff they can even recommend and book restaurants and activities all over svalbard

Cons:

No lift. Had to carry 3 suitcases up 3 floors.

The staff's courtesy and their wholehearted assistance with every request. The room size, the comfortable bed, and the hotel's location—very close to the village center and the museum, and an excellent pickup point for all excursions. A delicious, highly varied breakfast that suits every taste and style.

It is important to have a sign on the outer door directing people to the reception. It is important to have a small coffee table next to the sofa, in addition to the work desk. It is important to install additional dark, opaque curtains—or perhaps extra blinds—to block out the daylight that persists even at night. I wish there were an elevator.
