Nice stay but overpriced when not staying on the rooms with lake view
Pros:

Great location, extremely friendly and very attentive staff. Renovated bedrooms, nice bathroom (shower). Great view on the lake from the restaurant and 3 nice fire pits (but very busy at night)

Cons:

The rooms on the “city” side don’t have a view at all, they are noisy because of the huge hvac system on that side and you also have the garbage pick up that can wake you up. Quality at the restaurant was average for some dishes.

Pros:

Eating on property at the restaurant, it was convenient to have the restaurant on property. Enjoyed the outside that upstate NY affords anyone anywhere deciding on a vist.

Cons:

Sloppy and dirty rooms not up to a certain level for a room over $400 per night. Door was left open one day, along with the window not being locked. I was not happy with the overall attitude - no one takes anything seriously.

Cons:

Shampoo dispenser in shower was empty but I didn't know that until I was in the shower. Not cool. Also, turn down service - only left chocolates on one of the beds so my husband and I didn't get any. Not a big deal but really doesn't leave a good impression at all. Also staff told us our room would be ready at 3:00 but we went back at 3:30 and they said to come back at 4:00.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location!
Pros:

We loved the room, it was so spacious and so many great features for the bathrooms as well. Its had the best location, close to so many wineries and watkins Glen state Park and plenty of places to go walking around outside the hotel.
