Pros:

Hotel in ottima posizione con camera vista mare eccezionale. Lo staff è gentilissimo, sempre sorridente e molto collaborativo. Struttura pulita e in buona posizione per poter visitare Ikaria.

We would book this property again. Everyone was super friendly and the room was cozy
Pros:

We had a room which was the only one on that floor and a long stretched balcony which gave us lots of space and freedom to sit and chat in the evening. The room was nicely designed and the hosts have been incredibly friendly. Super close to the mini city, but you need to be up for some stairs

Cons:

The shower is a bit small and it was a little fight with the shower curtain (like always with shower curtains tbh)

Heerlijk, comfortabel verblijf
Pros:

De locatie was top, centraal, dicht bij de haven. Schitterend uitzicht vanaf kamer/balkon.
Ontbijt was prima en compleet. Het zwembad was ook heerlijk om even te dompelen!

Cons:

Ik zou het niet weten. Het allemaal aardige, hardwerkende mensen, voor wie niets te veel is.

Tesisin manzarası ve yeri dışında tesis demek bence doğru değil.

İlk gece uyuyamadık. Otel genel olarak çok eski ama Yataklar çok çok eski ve sürekli gıcırdıyor. Bunu söylediğimiz beyefendi ise tüm odaların aynı olduğunu söyledi, zahmet edip gelip kontrol etmedin akşam sorun yok tamir ettik dedi ama tabii ki karyola ve yatak kaynaklı olduğu için çözülmemiş. Kadın çalışan sağolsun odamızı son kalan daha eski bir odayla değiştirdi. Çift kişilik yatakta yaylar çökmüştü ama ayrı tek kişilik yatak vardı o hallice daha iyi ve orda uyuduk. Bir otelin olmazsa olması yatağının sessiz ve rahat olmasıdır. Yayları ve karyolası ses yapan yatakları ula bu tesise otel denmemeli. bir tek kadın çalışan elinden geleni yapmaya çalıştı ona teşekkür ederiz.

Pros:

Location above the port. Not so easy to drive to it. The staff was very kind. The building is divided into a lower ( older) and a higher (newer) one , but there are elevators. Rooms are rather simple bit fine - and the view is excellent. Relatively high priced for the room standard.

Good location, but turn down the oven!
Pros:

Staff was generally nice, and the location was wonderfully convenient to the Port.

Cons:

We arrived late afternoon, Our room had a great view, but was western facing. Upon arrival, it was 33 degrees Celsius in the room. The desk agent said the only way to cool it off was to leave the key in the slot, as the A/C doesn't function with out it. We asked if we could borrow an extra key to cool the room off at least a bit while at dinner. We were told "no." It was OPPRESSIVELY hot and once we arrived back, the A/C functioned at only a low level. It took many hours to cool the room down, resulting in difficulty getting to sleep. This should have been such an easy fix. The property knew our anticipated arrival time and could easily have made the room reasonably comfortable in advance.
I was surprised, as Kastro gets mostly very good reviews on this site, and I respect the nice follow-up notes they post to these reviews. But an an excessively hot day, their attitude about this was lousy/indifferent. I stay in hotels >125 days each year, and especially if a property knows your anticipated arrival time, if it takes spending a Euro or two to make the room comfortable, it beats the first impression of the room being awful. Unfortunately, that was our lasting impression.

Toller Meerblick vom Balkon. Personal super freundlich und wir würden auf eine Panagierie hingewiesen, die wir sonst verpasst hätten.

Betten eher unbequem Anfahrt mit dem Auto über enge und holprige Straße.

An Ikarian gem!
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff! Great variety on breakfast, with amazing view of the port. Has a small pool that you can use if you don't want to visit any beaches when the island gets too windy. Walkable distance to a nearby village, with natural thermal hot spring and multiple bars and restaurants.

Cons:

Not very soundproof rooms. Unfortunately you can hear doors and the elevator in the middle of the night if someone calls it.
Also there is a bit of a slope to reach the hotel, however the staff helps you with the luggage once you are there!

We had a nice stay at the Kastro Hotel.
Pros:

The hotel was nice. The room was very nice, clean, great view of Agios. Convenient to the Platea.

Cons:

It was hard to find parking on the street. Or parking down in the Platea was quite a hike back up to hotel.

Δυστυχώς, δεν ήταν πολύ καθαρά και ενώ μείναμε 7 βράδια οι πετσέτες αλλάχτηκαν μόνο μια φορά. Το πρωινό ήταν μέτριο.

Πολύ όμορφα όλα σας ευχαριστούμε!!

Κάθε μέρα μας καθάριζαν και μας έβαζαν καθαρές πετσέτες! Η διακόσμηση ήταν φιλική και ευχάριστη νιώσαμε πολύ άνετα και ήταν το κλίμα που θέλαμε ακριβώς. Νιώσαμε ότι ήμασταν σε νησί και χαλαρώσαμε, είχε ένα μοντέρνο και παραδοσιακό στυλ ταυτόχρονα!

Η θέα φανταστική!

Το προσωπικό πολύ ευχάριστο και πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει κάθε φορά που μας έβλεπε στο οτιδήποτε μπορούσαν να σκεφτούν!

Περάσαμε πολύ όμορφα είχε ησυχία και ότι χρειαζόμασταν!

Cons:

Δεν υπήρχε τίποτα που να μη μας άρεσε. Ισως να μπορούσαν να βάλουν λίγο πιο μαλακά στρώματα αλλά για το κόστος και το στυλ του ξενοδοχείου αυτό δεν ήταν καθόλου πρόβλημα
