Pros:

Beautiful property

Cons:

No lift up three floors of stairs. Brassiere poor. Menu didn’t describe meal. Nobody to help take bags down three floors of stairs for a 80 year old.

Nice room

Cons:

Arriving after long journey, booking an expensive room and then being told we could not eat in the hotel because we hadn’t booked ahead – no one suggested we needed to. Eventually this was rescinded and we were told later that afternoon we could - I have to say the restaurant when we got to it was excellent but it was a demoralising start to our stay. The potentially beautiful gardens and lake looked sadly neglected as did the dying shrubs outside the entrance. There seemed to be a general lack of care, leadership or hospitality in what was potentially a very beautiful abbey and setting

Confortable et sympathique
Pros:

Le cadre, la chambre, l'accueil. Le restaurant et sa cuisine japonaise.

Cons:

La brasserie (petit-déjeuner) dont la décoration n'est pas à la hauteur du reste.
La piscine : sa forme ronde n'est pas propice à la réalisation de longueurs.

Lovely historical hotel, not far from Nantes
Pros:

Comfortable room, lovely pool, great staff, great food.

Cons:

Definitely a food destination as got busier about at suppers when people would arrive. Otherwise very few guests. Large food portions also, starters more like main courses in my opinion.
