We enjoyed our stay and experiencing this authentic old town.
Pros:

Spacious, clean, and quiet classic historic hotel located on the main piazza of Orta San Guilio. Super convenient to ferries, shops, restaurants, Sacre Monte, and lakeside walks.

Cons:

I would request a lake view next time.

Prachtig klassiek en stijlvol hotel in het centrum van Orta San Giulio direct aan het meer gelegen.
Pros:

Het hotel is schitterend gelegen aan het centrale plein van Orta Dan Giulio en beschikt over een groot terras aan het meer. Groot pluspunt was tevens de mogelijkheid om een privé parkeerplaats ca. 300 meter van het hotel te reserveren.

Cons:

Een hendeltje van de douchekraan was kapot maar toen we dit meldden bij de receptie werd dit binnen 15 minuten opgelost terwijl wij in het hotel aan het dineren waren. Jammer dat men niet zelf gezien had dat het hendeltje kapot was maar snel en correct verholpen dus !

Un'eccezionale vista lago
Pros:

Posizione della struttura centrale, la vista dalla camera molto bella. La camera aveva la giusta metratura ed era pulitissima. Il letto era molto comodo.

Cons:

Sulla terrazza sotto la vite uva marcia per terra e sulle sedie. Il personale di colazione non cortese e anzi ha mostrato sempre un'aria scocciata nel soddisfare le richieste.

Very nice. Beautiful location and nice staff
Pros:

Receptionist staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was spacious, bathroom was good and everything was spotlessly clean.

Cons:

The parking area is a 15 min walk over cobbles so would be best to leave cases in carpark and take a smaller bag into hotel.

L'emplacement est absolument exceptionnel tout comme la disponibilité et la gentillesse du personnel.
On ne peut pas être plus proche du lac avec la vue sur San Giulo. Formidable.
On y retourne dès que possible.

Tired and shabby. Their car park was a long way by foot from the hotel, through cobbled streets and hilly walkways. No help with luggage.

Het uitzicht en het ontbijt was prima

Cons:

Het was niet helemaal netjes, harde matrassen en je moest je auto voor 10 euro per dag op een hele andere locatie zetten waardoor je heel ver met je zware koffers over vreselijke steentjes moest lopen. Je had ook geen pier zoals op de foto waar je het water in kon gaan.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und nicht sehr sauber. Die Entfernung vom Parkplatz zum Hotel war sehr weit und mit großem Koffer sehr umständlich zu erreichen. Keine Taxi vom Hotel.
