Pros:

Un emplacement top , calme dans un village plein de charme
Personnel au top , très disponible ,
Petit déjeuner très varié , produits frais et de qualité .
Les jeunes enfants sont les bienvenus , nombreux équipements adaptés .

Cons:

La Clim est bruyante , la chambre était petite et vieillotte .

Pros:

Location, decor of the room and very pleasant and helpful lady, Sara, at the front desk

Cons:

Confusing layout and too many steps for seniors. Some of the twits and turns were quite risky and some staircases did not have proper handrails. Fortunately the steps were not too steep.

A beautiful place we hope to return to.
Pros:

We loved our 2 days here. Location right by the lake was superb and staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely having breakfast on the terrace.

Cons:

Room was a fairly small but very clean. Walk from the station was a little dangerous due to no pavement.

- L'absence de parasols sur la terrasse
- Le restaurant malgré sa magnifique terrasse donnant sur le lac ; quantité insuffisante : quelques pâtes au fond de l'assiette avec très peu d'agneau pour 20€, c'était limite arnaque...

A memorable stay in delightful Orta - would definitely use Hotel Leon D’Oro again
Pros:

Excellent location right on the main square
Very clean and beautifully furnished room
Exceptional reception staff who went above and beyond.
Superb views from the breakfast room
Nice to have spa facilities which we used on the last day plus lovely massage by Isabella

Cons:

Heard nearby recycling being collected early but couldn’t be helped
Restaurant only seemed to have a certain amount of croissants etc

Personnel très serviable

Cons:

La chambre réservée sur Booking qui nous a été attribuée avait une fenêtre qui ouvrait sur un mur
Pas très agréable aucune vue et pas de luminosité
La télévision ne fonctionnait pas il a fallu une nuit pour la changer
Et bien sûr le parking éloigné et qui nécessite de transporter les valises sur les pavés
