Wonderful staff, amazing views, great food. Don’t book just one night!
Pros:

The staff were outstanding, location fabulous, room clean and spacious. There was a fly screen door to the balcony and allowed for fresh air to come into the room. Views from the room and the terrace were amazing.

That we didn’t book for longer!

Deși am specificat in rezervare că suntem 2 adulți și 2 copii, la check in ni s-a transmis de la recepție că trebuie să plătim suplimentar pentru copii, in condițiile in care am rezervat o cameră pentru 4 persoane.

Pros:

This time I can't get any good words about the stay here. Veliko Tarnovo is a fantastic touristic place to be, but the hotel and especially the staff becomes more and more unhelpful and shows less and less interest to issues raised by customers.

Cons:

This is not my first time here. I actually come with my family on regular basis to Veliko Tarnovo, also the 4th time to the hotel. Unfortunately every time it became worse and worse.
1. The parking topic. I definitely understand that there are no reservation for the parking... but when I'm telling the receptionist that I'll pick my car from a few minutes away and bring it to their place and...I come and already another car is parked :(
2. Room furniture becomes older and older
3. POOL
- NOT WORKING on Sunday...in a tourist area
- the place itself looks like there was a battle. Also full of mildew. The Jacuzzi did not work 3 years ago, did not work now either. Personnel there pretended not to know English...even if after a few minutes they were talking in English
I wish you all a pleasant stay in the beautiful (veliko) city of tarnovo, but there are so many other options that will definitely be better then Boliarski.

the check in time is till 24. the front desk staff was very helpful
the room was huge. the bathroom huge. the view from the room was wow!
pay attention: the parking is limited. if you get there late u won't get a parking lot reserved or guaranteed
decent breakfast, with the same nice view

i didn't find parking arriving late. lucky for me it was Friday and there were some free street space available
