Me and my family went here on Monday for two nights, it was booked months in advance for my grandmothers 60th birthday. Two nights away with family as a present, personally we would never ever be back. On the first night, my aunts whom two of them are deaf, one partially deaf, the first night were told that there was noise complaints and they were too noisy, in there rooms, by a man. To keep the noise down, which even though they were only talking they ignored the comment and thought Tuesday would be a better day, Tuesday came and it wasn’t, we were in the hot tub and once a girl came and told us to keep the noise down, then my aunts got into the hot tub and we’re doing nothing but laughing and talking, to be told by a man from the bar to keep the noise down again, we actually had the restaurant booked that night for dinner and cancelled so we could go to the local Chinese restaurant and sit as my aunts were that uncomfortable to speak in the hotel incase we had complaints by staff again, be aware if you’re staying here.
Just had another fantastic meal here with my friend. Today we opted for lunch and availed of their lunch deal. The same girl from last time Emma served us as well as Nico and Beth they were all lovely. Honestly couldn't fault a thing! The food itself was really lovely especially the scampi. I don't usually go for dessert but the bread and butter pudding was to die for. All and all we will be back. Thanks again for an amazing experience. Hard to find when eating out these days and it's always better when it does break the bank.
Friendly staff, very clean, hotel was homely
Brought my mum for her 60th birthday! Brilliant day from start to finish. The cocktails, the spa, the treatments, the food, our room! It was perfect! Staying again in July.
Myself and my partner went to The Rabbit Hotel on a relaxing getaway and were absolutely blown away! Staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The spa was spacious, quiet and so peaceful and we enjoyed our time there before our massages. The private botanical baths were a lovely touch to top off the treatments. Dinner on the terrace was fantastic with a lovely cocktail menu and staff were so helpful with drink pairings. Catherine and Anna-Rose in particular were so kind to us during our stay helping us with everything we could possibly need. Bar staff were so kind and helpful and dropped up a bottle of wine which we enjoyed in our private outside area by the fire. Florence the resident dog is a sweetheart and we couldn’t get enough of her! The room was spacious and comfortable with so many small details made our stay extra special and we’re gutted we didn’t book an extra night now but will 100% be back again.
Absolutely everything. The staff are as amazing as the facilities. Any questions they were happy to answer and the bar and spa staff were super friendly
Nothing
We live locally and have used the bar and restaurant and to be truthful, the food is extremely poor, today’s meal took the biscuit, starters were disgraceful! my husband described it as, “Frozen food from Iceland! And not the country!” The staff are wearing their own clothes and not a uniform which compared to the Kingfisher is a poor look. Drink is over priced and as my granny would have said, “All fur coat and no knickers!” This is seemingly a Galgorm Resort, so why do they think this level of service, poor food, over priced drink and staff dress code, sells it!!!!!!!!!! awe won’t be returning.
Fabulous breakfast , beautiful landscaped grounds
The staff were very nice and breakfast was good.
Where to start. Well within seconds of taking my shoes off I got a splinter in my foot which I haven't been able to remove. I therefore missed my ritual clay experience because I was busy trying to remove the splinter and couldn't limp to the spa in flip flops.
The big light didn't work.
There is a fan but it somehow creates zero breeze.
The outdoor bath was just grim looking.
The fire was nice but have fun getting that going with a quarter of a fire lighter and a sheet of newspaper. I only managed because I happened to have paper with me.
The toilet has been running continuously for hours.
I booked a spa day at The Rabbit Hotel for my partner’s birthday, which included treatments and lunch as part of the day experience.
We both had morning treatments booked and absolutely loved the décor and atmosphere of the spa waiting area. I was greeted by the therapist who carried out my treatment (I can’t remember her name, but she was Welsh and incredibly friendly). She talked me through the entire full-body treatment, made me feel completely at ease, and applied the perfect amount of pressure throughout. It was genuinely one of the best treatments I’ve ever had, and she is a real credit to the team.
My partner also thoroughly enjoyed his treatment and said his full-body massage was amazing from start to finish.
Afterwards, we had lunch in The Palm House and ordered the Chicken Ciabatta and the Burger. Both were 10/10 and exceeded our expectations. The service was excellent throughout, especially from our waiter, Lauren, who was attentive and welcoming. The cocktails were a lovely bonus and the perfect addition to an already fantastic experience.
Overall, we had a wonderful day and would highly recommend The Rabbit Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing spa experience. We will definitely be back.
Spa area was great
Room were very small for the price of them
My daughter and I called into this Hotel today for lunch It was my first time in there and I hope not my last The photos online don’t do it justice It was so so beautiful We had a look around hotel lobby bar dining area and also seen the luxurious Spa Very fancy I must say
Special thank you to Matthew who served us lunch in the Bar and the chef who made the most delicious food
The spa was class, the friendly atmosphere all the hotel was great.
The beds are very noise.. the food wasn't great.
Myself and my daughter went to the Rabbit Spa hotel for the first time on the 4th April. My daughter bought us a full day spa voucher which I couldn't wait to use, we did not stay in the hotel, this was Spa only.
We had full access to the spa, a treatment and lunch included. It was absolute bliss from start to finish. Unfortunately the weather wasnt on our side, as it rained heavily, but it kind of added to the experience all the same, as we went into the room with the heated loungers and just sat looking out😊
The spa is lovely, and even for a Saturday, we had use of all. The lunch was absolutely fantastic, we did not expect the menu offered, we thought it would only be wraps/sandwiches etc, so we were delighted to see hot meals in the menu. Both the goujons & Chips & salt n chilli chicken was delicious.
Saving the best to last; My favourite part of the day, was the treatment. I opted for a full body massage, however I only wanted 'upper body' and this was no issue. My therapist was called Sirri and she was incredible. I have had quite a number of massages by others in the past, and this was the best massage I have ever got. She is incredible at what she does, and I cannot wait to go back and experience it again.
Of course with reviews, its normal to input a negative or two, to be honest, I couldn't fault our experience, it was amazing, but if I have to write something, I would just say that there was quite a smell in the changing rooms, which was there the whole day so I am not sure if it was coming from the drains, the changing rooms is very very small, especially if a group of women come in at the same time. The only other negative is the cocktails. We got 1cocktail each to add to the experience, they were very costly, and unfortunately not very good, but this is only a small negative.
All in all,a fantastic experience 😊
