Beautiful and welcoming family hotel in the heart of the old town
Pros:

We loved our stay at Hotel Gjirokaster. Chasim and his family were so welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are lovely with antique furniture and super efficient silent air con. Breakfast was magnificent- we particularly loved the ‘petulla’. The location is great just below the castle and right next to the old town bars and restaurants. The pool was great to cool down after our excursions.

Cons:

The pool is quite small and could get busy. But there were places to sit in the garden if the sun loungers were taken so it’s not a big problem.

Pros:

Alles was tot in de puntjes in orde. Zeer gezellig ingericht, zowel buiten als in de kamers. Goede centrale ligging. Een super vriendelijke gastheer, niets is die man te veel.

Utrolig flot gammel bygning og super beliggenhed. Pool var nødvendig og fin. Hjælpsomt personale og info inden ankomst på whats app

Morgenmad var dejlig og hjemmelavet, dog villle jeg gerne kunne have spist den udenfor i have.

Pros:

location was great up the top end of town ,easy walk to town and sites. pool was clean and tidy. Breakfast was ok.staff were lovely with very little english which added to the authenticity. Parking out the front was easy.

Oasis in the centre of the busy town.
Pros:

Excellent location just below the castle and within walking distance of everything the town offers. Staff were helpful, especially when we went the wrong way in the car as we arrived (it is quite hard to find) and they came to get us! The swimming pool was nice and very welcome in the heat and after walking around the town.

Cons:

There is not really a proper evening restaurant, but it is so close to other lovely places to eat and drink.

Geweldig verblijf en locatie
Pros:

Het is een oud familiehotel. Passen bij de oude stijl van Gjirokaster. We hadden voor één nacht de familiesuite. Dit is een ruime, mooie kamer met moderne badkamer. Het ontbijt is ruim en erg goed. Het zwembad is erg prettig als afkoeling bij de warme dagen. De eigenaren zijn behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk.

Cons:

Niets, behalve een aandachtspunt t.a.v. de trap in het zwembad met name het ondiepe deel en de bodem zijn glad. Dus goed uitkijken als de het zwembad inloopt.

Wat een ontzettend fijn hotel is dit. De eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardige en behulpzame mensen. Het hotel is ontzettend schoon en netjes. De locatie is voortreffelijk en een heerlijk zwembad om je in af te koelen.
