It was excellent. Will definitely visit again!
Pros:

The porter and security and even cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We have stayed in the suites before and I notice that the rooms do not have any two point plugs. It would be very helpful if the suites came equipped with these.

Absolutely amazing !
Pros:

Very easy access to the square. The apartment was tastefully furnished , spacious and clean. Management left a cake and a card for my husband’s birthday which was such a special touch.

We used it as quick stopover while waiting on other travellers arrangements. Nelson square is close.
Pros:

Location good - closes to the Sandton shopping mall. We did not use the kitchen which was sizeable and clean. Come to eat out. the view from the window/balcony wasn't that great, but it was secure.

Cons:

I accidentally left behind my tooth brush charger, and a few weeks later called into collect the charger. However House Service said it was not found. bit of a worry!

Pros:

Location was excellent. Room was great, very clean, and spacious. Plenty of seating areas. Alot of natural light. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The tub shower was not my best preference. I saw a different room layout on the pictures hence I was not expecting a tub shower.

The wifi was quite bad. Cellphones and laptops struggled with connectivity. The TV is a smart TV but does not connect to the wifi.

It was spacious

Cons:

Main bedroom carpet had what looked like two big blood stains. The plugs kept tripping. The filter coffee machine did not work. There were two massive and I mean massive cockroaches in our bedroom in the morning when we woke up on the carpet by the side table that we only saw in n the morning. We were away for a special night away and so we didn’t want to argue or start complaining when we checked out but this is really unacceptable and for these reasons we wouldn’t want to come back. The breakfast money allocation that we paid for was R520 but the breakfast while it was nice didn’t cost anywhere near to that so I’d rather want to have breakfast as optional and decide where I want to go. The wine and beer was ridiculously overpriced and we cannot figure that either … I totally am willing to pay you a good mark up for a bottle of wine but really again not ok. I think a few maintenance things a better bed definitely the carpet and cockroaches is a serious red flag that hygiene is not a priority at the Raphael and for what we spent for one night it is not worth it at all.
