Good - lovely staff the hotel could do with a bit of a facelift entrance has awful dying rubber plants - the restauran
Pros:

We’ve stayed several times and always enjoyed the general ambience.

Cons:

The restaurant. The food is good however the atmosphere is awful and the temperature is too cold.

Great hotel, lots of character and friendly staff
Pros:

Warm welcome when we arrived, really helpful when changing booking request and quaint town with lots of history and some good restaurant options including a brewery down the road

Cons:

Nothing fell short and certainly nothing to complain about.

A pleasant stay in a good location.
Pros:

The hotel is in a central location and has excellent parking facilities. Check in was friendly and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable. There was a pleasant bar environment and excellent draft beer was available.

Cons:

The bathroom extractor fan seemed to be controlled remotely and so could not be linked to when the bathroom was actually in use. In addition, the fan was very noisy. The Crown in obviously a 'working' pub and so there was a certain amount of noise coming from the yard below our room. This was not especially intrusive.

Very enjoyable
Pros:

It was very clean spotless in fact
The bar area and tables were cleaned very well
This morning which I thought was a tad to early Christmas decorations together with staff wearing Christmas themed attire (it’s 10th of October far to early in my opinion)

Cons:

One niggling small point was the quality of the toilet paper was sub standard compared to every thing else in the room

Absolutely coming back one day.
Pros:

It was simply superb. We stayed one night. Room was lovely, staff were lovely and a three course meal was exceptional.

Charming old coaching inn in central location.
Pros:

Location and parking was excellent. Staff were friendly and food was good. Great bar. Room was comfortable though view was of brick walls. Nice walk in shower with lots of hot water. The building is attractive.

Cons:

A minor point but the toilet paper was the thinnest known to humanity! This is a false economy as people just use more but if it was to avoid clogging the drains in an old building then ok.
