Mykonos Kosmoplaz Beach Resort Hotel

Our room was 1 star, budget room, not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel with a room fee of $600 AUD per nigh or 380€. I was so upset & disappointed as I was looking forward to the stay. Room did not reflect the photos. It was also beside a driveway & staircase & was so noisy, I did speak to reception & asked to be moved & they did nothing about it. Ate at their beachside downstairs restaurant whilst waiting to check in, there’s a reason the restraint is always empty, the food was terrible. The breakfast upstairs was really nice. All up would not recommend, nor would I ever return. Very sad!

We paid for a room with a seaview on the top floor but the concrete wall blocked any views & we had to stand up to see the beach over the wall. Other rooms below had glass fencing & uninterrupted views. There was also inadequate seating outside - no table setting & one small lounge without a back cushion. Very poor considering the price we paid for the room.

Lo único que no nos gustó es que la ducha no está cerrada del todo entonces cuando te bañas todo el baño de llena de agua hasta la puerta, igual la habitación la limpian todos los días.

Het is aan de strand gelegen, maar locatie is niet zo top. Moeilijk bereikbaar, geen lekker ontbijt… Kamers zijn ook niet mooi.

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. Firstly I arrive at the hotel and enter my room, it is dark dingy and has two green single beds in the middle of the room along with the double bed which was not pictured on the photos in booking.com. There was also a used cup in the bathroom which had not been cleaned. Before coming I had contacted the hotel to check my room had a balcony they said yes. The balcony was actually a communal area by the pool. There was absolutely no privacy as I couldn’t even open my blinds as people outside my room would be able to see me.

I asked to move rooms and even downgrade to a room with a balcony to which the hotel was extremely un accomodating, as they said if I wanted to move rooms I would have to move three times during my stay.

I initially only had two separate bookings and asked the hotel to combine them, throughout my stay the reception called me multiple times waking me up indicating I needed to check out when this was not the case. This happened two days in a row, to the point where I asked them to kindly update their booking system as continually waking me up asking me to check out when check out wasn’t required was absosluly ridiculous.

Unlike all the other hotels on the beach, you have to pay for the beach chairs 35 euro a day, the pool is tiny with no sun. We also had to call multiple times for the room to be serviced where one of the days the room wasn’t serviced at all.

The worst part by far is the staff, they were rude did not greet you and were extremely unhelpful. When we spoke to the other hotels and there was a shared view that the staff were not very nice. Everyone I had spoken to at the hotel shared this same view. Worst experience would not recommend anyone stay here.

SERVIZIO DI RECEPTION

Leider ist das Hotel deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Unser Zimmer war bei genauerem Hinsehen nicht wirklich sauber und an mehreren Stellen bröckelte der lediglich überstrichene Putz von den Wänden. Es gab keinen Kleiderschrank und auf den Balkon gelangte man nur, indem man durch ein Fenster kletterte.

Auch der Poolbereich war wenig einladend. Für das gesamte Hotel standen lediglich drei stark abgenutzte und verschmutzte Sonnenbetten zur Verfügung. Dass sich dort während unseres Aufenthalts kaum jemand aufhielt, hat uns daher nicht überrascht.

Besonders negativ war für uns das Restaurant beziehungsweise der Liegenbereich direkt unterhalb des Hotels. In den umliegenden Hotels konnten Hotelgäste die Liegen am jeweiligen Strandabschnitt kostenlos nutzen. Bei unserem Hotel war dies jedoch nicht der Fall. Deshalb haben wir uns während unseres Aufenthalts immer bei anderen Betreibern beziehungsweise an den Strandabschnitten benachbarter Hotels Liegen gemietet. Dort kosteten diese je nach Anbieter etwa 20 bis 30 Euro pro Person und Tag.

Der Liegenbereich unter unserem Hotel war der einzige, bei dem zunächst damit geworben wurde, die Liegen seien kostenlos und man müsse lediglich etwas trinken. Sobald man sich dort hinlegte, erhielt man jedoch eine spezielle Getränkekarte, auf der es keine Getränke beziehungsweise Angebote unter etwa 80 Euro gab. Für uns war das sehr irreführend und wir fühlten uns regelrecht abgezockt.

Obwohl uns vom Hotel ausdrücklich gesagt wurde, dass das Restaurant nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun habe, erhielten wir vom Hotel einen Rabattgutschein für ein Abendessen dort. Außerdem waren Mitarbeiter des Restaurants auch beim Hotelfrühstück anwesend und gingen vor den Gästen teilweise sehr unfreundlich mit dem eigentlichen Hotelpersonal um. Daher war für uns nicht nachvollziehbar, warum angeblich keinerlei Verbindung bestehen sollte.

El baño está separado de la habitación x una cortina que se volaba de los pedos que me tiraba. En el desayuno (que hay menos q en mi casa) hay un señor con un trato espantoso, el personal es desagradable como el menos un chico de la recepción. Un ambiente feo realmente, imagino que debe ser x ese viejo cara de culo

À notre arrivée, on nous a attribué une chambre dont la fenêtre donnait… sur un couloir, ou pour d’autres options tout aussi lamentables, directement sur la route. Aucune vue, aucune intimité, juste de la déception pure. Face à cette situation inacceptable, nous avons dû payer 900€ supplémentaires pour obtenir enfin une chambre digne de ce nom, une somme exorbitante qui aurait dû être incluse dès le départ vu le prix du séjour.
Pour couronner le tout, l’accueil a été un calvaire. Le personnel à la réception s’est montré extrêmement irrespectueux, sans le moindre effort pour arranger la situation ou simplement faire preuve de courtoisie basique envers des clients qui payaient déjà cher.
Et le petit-déjeuner ? Un mot suffit : ridicule. Des buffets vides, quasiment rien à se mettre sous la dent, alors que c’est censé être un service inclus dans un hôtel de cette catégorie.
Entre les chambres mensongères, les frais cachés qu’on nous impose sur place, le personnel désagréable et le petit-déjeuner inexistant, cet hôtel n’a clairement rien d’autre en tête que de faire du profit sur le dos de touristes mal informés. Plus jamais je ne remettrai les pieds dans cet établissement d’arnaqueurs, et je déconseille fortement à quiconque envisage d’y séjourner.

Even though there was a parking area, they wouldn't let us leave our motorcycle; they were rude just because we parked it there for five minutes.
