Friendly, a warm and welcoming stay
Pros:

Lovely welcome, great room we were very impressed. Hosts were very friendly and breakfast was hearty and well cooked and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Cons:

The price was a little high but that’s all.

Cons:

Building exterior is really shabby and requires repairs and painting. Subsequently, it doesn’t look very inviting from the outside. Also, the bedroom windows were really dirty and need cleaning.

We would recommend staying here and would give it a 9/10 Rating & they do a great BREAKFAST offering for an extra cost but well worth it - you will not be disappointed! :)

Cons:

We stay overnight in a Hotel for our Weekly/Day Off Treat for Rest, Relaxation & to Recharge ourselves and look forward to spending quality time together - going out for a meal and a few drinks in the Local Area!
We specifically choose this Hotel because it offers a LATER 12noon Check Out - which enables us to have a well earned lie in on our only weekly/day off after working all week - early mornings & late nights in our own business. However on our last visit to The County at Lytham, which is one of our "GO TO" Hotels we were very disappointed - only to be woken up on several occasions by the housekeeping staff who were chatting loudly to each other (especially the lady) for quite a period of time in the corridor outside our room & other guest rooms? Unfortunately, this is the 2nd time we have had this experience at the Hotel, the first time it happened I actually got up and asked the member of staff if they minded being quiet as we were trying to sleep which surely they understand is the reason for staying in a Hotel? We thought it would be a one off occurrence and decided to give them the benefit of doubt, as we do not like to complain unnecessarily. We would just have expected the housekeeping staff to show a bit of common sense and show a little bit more courtesy to the Hotel Guests choosing to stay with them - rather than staying at another Hotel in future?
We would hope that this matter is resolved quickly, as we do like everything else that this great Hotel has to offer!
