Location and good food
Little bit loud as beginning of World Cup and room cold
The Swan is perfectly positioned in the heart of beautiful New Alresford, and offers free parking (first come, first served). The staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in early. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent.
I would have liked more storage or shelf space in the bathroom. There was one very small shelf. More pillows would have been nice, we only had one each. The slightly dingy communal areas could do with redecorating and re carpeting.
breakfast was really good and plenty to eat. the room was large and comfy and very clean. i am coeliac but there was a really good choice on the menu and the food was really nice.
nothing
Well located with free off street parking. Good sized rooms. Nice Belfast included.
Nothing.
Staff are really attentive and helpful. Dinner was great both nights.
Parking can be limited. I got the last space in the small car park first night and last space out on the road the second night, so consider myself very lucky. Don’t know where you’d have to park otherwise.
Breakfast room and dinner
Very clean room, comfy bed, quiet room, delicious breakfast, and great biscuits
Staff friendly. Room Excellent. Bed very comfortable. Food very good
The weather!. Nothing else - hotel was great
Breakfast, dinner, type of room. You kindly gave us a level shower as requested.
Nothing
Great location on the main road, car parking adjacent to the hotel, friendly receptionist, room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was quirky and shower very good. Breakfast was substantial with great fruit salad, eggs Benedict, croissants etc.
Might be our error, but having damp towels on day two was not so good. If they are not going to be changed ( not expected nowadays) then needed somewhere to dry them.
Location is great. Rooms were clean
Little things really. Door hinges needed a squirt of wd-40. Big one was no air con. Maybe needs to be considered for future.
The room was awesome and the staff was wonderful. After hiking all day, it was great to be able to rest, shower and eat in the pub. The breakfast was amazing also. We had our first full English breakfast- baked beans and all.
The room was spacious and cool on a very hot day .Comfortable and quiet with a good size bed
Excellent breakfast, clean room, amazing location.
