The Good, the bad and the ugly
Pros:

THE GOOD

Food was good. Staff were attentive

Cons:

THE BAD

Room smelt stale and moldy.
Window frames are moldy.
Rooms need a major deep clean
Rooms need TLC across the board

THE UGLY

The bed was like sleeping on the hard shoulder of the M4! Bed also needs to be larger than the current double

Comfortable bed.Good breakfast.
Pros:

As vegans,we had 2 choices for breakfast,both of which were very good.
Our room was a good size with a very roomy and comfortable bed.Attention is needed to the wash basin tap and plug.

Cons:

The condition of the bathroom may well be indicative that the accommodation is in need of an upgrade.

Pros:

The 2 separate beds for the children.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The lack of cups, glasses, teabags towels and pillows.
The hanging facility was mostly broken.
The collection of laundry bags in the hallway made a tight space even tighter and difficult to negotiate.
The bathroom could use a good refit,
And the toilets in the main dinning room/pub smelt awful.
Everything about our room just felt tired and broken.

Very convenient for our purpose ,very nice staff
Pros:

Great for nearness for a funeral
Pleasant and helpful staff
Clean room , fan in room

Cons:

Outside courtyard generally needs cleaning and refurbish of furniture

Likewise rooms good but need update certainly in the bathroom .bath clean but needs replacing

Pros:

Location was very good for the travel on.to the motorways.
Manager very nice and friendly

Cons:

Traffic noise kept us awake most of the night, due to the heat we couldnt shut the windows.
Noise from draymen early in the morning added to the noise.

Rather shabby in places. Scalding water in shower with no way to make it cooler. Breakfast poor. Coffee awful.

Great staff, great food.
Pros:

The meals were excellent, freshly prepared, attractive and delicious. The staff were very helpful with food allergies as well. They were wonderful, helpful, fun, and kind overall. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious.

Cons:

The whole place could use a "freshen up". The walls are scuffed and the paint is worn in high-traffic areas. Even the rooms need some TLC. It's not horrible, but it is a draw-back. The hallway from the sign-in desk to the rooms is pretty rough.

Pros:

Wir waren zum 3. Mal dort auf der Durchreise nach Cornwall. Die Ausstattung ist etwas älter, aber freundliches Personal und gutes Essen. Die Lage an der Autobahn ist optimal, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Frühstück für englische Verhältnisse ganz gut, die Abendkarte war umfangreich, das Essen geschmacklich in Ordnung

Cons:

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen.

Tired
Pros:

Very convenient location

Cons:

Very tired, that in itself would have been fine but the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the plug was stuck in the sink so not really workable. I had to bail out the sink with the teacup!
I did notify reception and the young lady was helpful but unable to help as she had a broken arm.
