Excellent Stay - July 2026
Pros:

Staff were great! Room was excellent with an exceptional balcony view of the entire city. Rustic yet very well cared for!! Room decor was sooooo nice, including fresh flowers everywhere at arrival! We felt so welcomed and supported!
The Hammam was FANTASTIC!! We had another one later in our stay and it was more money, while being less than half as good. She was so kind, respectful and rough while being gentle. A must experience, although very different from massages (like stone, Swedish, etc)!! After a long day and a tough hike we were completely brought back to life!!

Cons:

The stairs are almost unbearable! Granted our visit was in July 2026 so multiple times up the stairs each day was a challenge. The staff are amazing to do it with such ease. We thought we were in pretty good shape too!
There were two younger front desk staff that misguided us a bit. We needed a taxi and none were answering so we were told to just walk down the hill and they’d be there. None were there so we ended up way30 minutes in heat. We were told about the distance by another It wasn’t a 10 min walk! Everyone else was great, including staff that carried our bags up the hill, IN THE HEAT, with a smile!! Breakfast servers too!!
Overall, great stay at a beautiful hotel with great people and food AND SPA! Just be ready for a lot of stairs!!

Pros:

We were so blown away by Dar Jasmine, it was one of my favourite hotels I have ever stayed in. Peaceful, beautiful, the most outstanding view and food was delicious! We loved all the little touches like the room decor, the chess board etc. Hospitality was 10/10. While it is a bit of a walk to get there, it’s well worth it and we did not find it to be an issue despite it being very hot.

Vue magnifique sur Chefchaouen, piscine et terrasse très agréables, très belles chambres dans un complexe calme et élégant et personnel attentif et serviable.

Cons:

La route fermée allant vers l'hôtel nécessite une marche de 10 min vers l'hôtel pas très agréable sous forte chaleur malgré l'aide du staff. Le parking dans la rue à payer à un inconnu avec un tarif "spécial touriste"...

Un séjour magique avec une vue à couper le souffle.
Pros:

Nous avons eu un véritable coup de cœur pour Dar Jasmine.
Tout au long de notre séjour, nous avons eu l'impression de vivre une expérience digne d'un hôtel de luxe. Chaque détail est soigné et le cadre est tout simplement exceptionnel.
Nous séjournions dans la suite Bogotá, et sa terrasse privée avec sa vue imprenable sur la piscine, la montagne et Chefchaouen était un vrai privilège. C'était un véritable plaisir de s'y détendre à tout moment de la journée.
Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le restaurant, où les repas étaient excellents, ainsi que la gentillesse du personnel. Un grand merci aux personnes qui nous ont aidés à monter nos valises jusqu'à l'hôtel : leur aide et leur bienveillance ont été très appréciées.
L'emplacement est un véritable atout : l'hôtel se trouve à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la médina, tout en offrant un environnement calme et une vue spectaculaire sur Chefchaouen. Nous repartons avec de magnifiques souvenirs.

Cons:

Le seul point un peu contraignant est la montée jusqu'à l'établissement. Sous les fortes chaleurs, elle peut être assez éprouvante. Cela dit, une fois arrivé, la vue et le cadre font vite oublier cet effort.

Great, romantic hotel but difficult to access
Pros:

I loved my stay here. Super iconic view of Chefchaouen. International grade spa.

Cons:

I do hope the road conditions leading to it gets repaired soon. And that management comes up with a Tuktuk or similar solution in the interim. There should be massive warning for the 170 steps going from the road to the hotel entrance. That may make it inaccessible for elderly and people with accessibility issues. Also the set menu for meals felt cheap for the rates paid.

Pros:

Amazing location and facility. The road to the hotel colapsed in one part so you will have to park about 15 minute walk away but the hotel staff will wait for you at the parking area and will help with the luggage. There are a lot of stairs to the hotel but definitelly worth it. The views are amazing and you are a short walk to all the shops, restaurants etc.. There is a restaurant on site that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall, we had a great stay.
