Great property but in need of updating.
Pros:

Beautiful property but decor is a little tired.

Cons:

Had to pay extra for the spa which was the reason we stayed. The spa is in a poor state. Sauna door didn’t close properly, hot tub rubber tiles in a poor state and sides are worn all over. Generally needs an update

Phenomenal, would stay again
Pros:

The location was amazing, view was scenic and the facilities were all super clean and beautiful. The food in the restaurants and for breakfast tasted brilliant and the staff were all super helpful

Cons:

It was a bit hard to find a locker in the spa as quite a few in the men’s changing room were broken and others in use, but room was close enough to spa and spa area was monitored well enough this wasn’t really an issue

Might have been nice if we stayed, shame they couldn’t provide what they advertised.
Cons:

Didn’t actually go to the property. Booked it because it looked beautiful and it accommodated dogs. We came two hours away from home for a weekend get away. We were almost there when we got a phone call from the hotel saying they were unable to accommodate the dogs now as they were out of dog friendly rooms. Very unfair seeing as they took the booking, £370 straight out the bank, and we were mere minutes from the property with the dogs and our baby. Very unhelpful on the phone, saying they couldn’t initiate the refund but I would have to request one myself from booking.com and it’s my fault for using booking.com
Now I have to wait 12 calendar days for the money to return when it only took 12 seconds for them to take it. This meant we had no financial means to find anywhere else to stay and had to do the two hour drive home again with our baby and two dogs.
