Location and hotel areas, as well as right along the river Thames.
There was some renovation at the main hotel entrance going on and no air conditioning in the room, though fans provided.
Everything!
Its not a proper hotel.
Public transport to and from the location was good and easy to use. The large estate with space to breathe was relaxing. Breakfast and service was good. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are well laid out and comfortable.
No air conditioning. The rooms are too hot and not enough windows to open. Dinner was average.
It was a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with excellent facilities snd the staff were wonderful. We particularly like the setting on the river. We also found the convenience of a bus stop close by was a bonus getting in and out of Henley without using the car.
We were surprised how quiet the hotel was and would have liked the atmosphere of more guests around. Air conditioning in the room would have been nice although the fan provided was quite efficient considering the heatwave during our stay.
The room was just too hot with no air. We had booked for 2 nights but only stayed 2 hours and we had to leave.
Stunning grounds. Attentive staff. Clean and well run. Nothing bad to say at all
Everything
No A/C
It was good
I was expecting to stay in the main building with a more traditional bedroom and not in a more modern building..this visit was for a 60th birthday..but on the plus side..had complex to ourselves..overall positive.
everything
Lovely setting, quiet, beautiful grounds. Attentive staff.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
No bar open throughout the day. Restaurant not open for evening meals. Evening bar menus was limited. Check out at 9 was a bit to early. It was not as I remembered.
All the above
good room faciliites. clean. breakfast selection good. site of hotel.
This is a management conference centre so feel is slightly different to a hotel. Not an issue for us, but may be an issue for families. There's an outdoor walk from rooms to breakfast/bar/dinner.
It is in a beautiful location and the main house is a Beautiful venue for breakfast and dinner
The only thing to mention is that the rooms in windrush are very small and need some tlc compared to Bourne. I think they should be cheaper. Also a small fridge should be available on request in summer for cool drinks and to put medicine in.
Breakfast stunning location
