Great location over an old fashioned pub. Great bathroom and nice spacious clean room
The bed was so uncomfortable....new mattresses are required. Room was very cold with no thermostat or heating available.
Location
Exit via fire escape a little awkward
Location is brilliant.
Close to beach, shops and railway station.
Room quite big, plenty of room.
Lovely sized bathroom with shower AND bath.
Nice staff.
Over pub so handy if need drinks in evening.
Staff on hand during pub opening hrs.
Free parking nearby.
Close to other cafes and restaurants etc.
1. Bed mattress really uncomfortable..feels cheap as can feel the springs everywhere. I would recommend investing in a good quality one.
2. A bonus was seeing the jacuzzi bath but unfortunately it didn't work..=disappointing after you've planned an evening in for a spa bath.😒 if it does work.then can I suggest some working instructions to be left near hand. It looked simple enough but couldn't get it to do anything.🤷♀️
Lots of stairs, 1st room was a disaster moved to another, found it very unusual didn’t do breakfast & you left via the fire escape at the rear of the pub
Location
Bathroom door falling off
The rooms were very spacious. The girl who checked us in was lovely! The rooms were generally clean. Great position in Saltburn.
The shower drain in the small double absolutely needs cleaning.
The mattress wasn't the best, but I did sleep ok.
Location, staff and cleanliness
The room cans hallway spaces could do with some TLC and upgrading a little
Not much
The room was too small for a twin room 2 walls in the room one had cracks filled in but not sanded and painted one wall had holes in the plaster the bathroom had a door with a glass window you can see through not what you want with two friends traveling the shower was way to small and one of the beds was so cheap and not put together properly it broke.
Great room and location especially for the price. Friendly staff and nice facilities.
Room probably in need of a little tart up but still very pleasant
Great staff. Great location.
Nothing to dislike.
Lovely bed, spacious

We slept well both nights
Too many stairs to the room
Central with nice big room and bathroom.
We expected a bar and pub food but the pub closed at 7.30. We were left alone in a big building using the back fire exit steep metal steps. My husband found these difficult getting luggage out and if I had been in my own I would not have been comfortable in the back bin laden and trashy back alley leading to the main st. Nobody on hand if needed.
Honestly the only good thing was the location
This place was really run down as not cared for at all. The TV didn't work at all, neither did the WiFi so literally no entertainment in the room. It was so noisy could literally hear everyone's conversations from other rooms, this was likely because of the huge gap under the main door letting sound in. The bed made me itch all night - i didn't see anything and the bed itself was pretty uncomfortable too. The worst thing probably was the fact that room 4 was pretty close to the boiler room and the building must have been using a pretty old water pump. This meant that whenever anyone used any water we were disturbed - the sound it made was extremely loud and went off at all hours - I think other rooms would definitely have heard this too. I got hardly any sleep at all.
Additionally there are electric sockets attached to the wall through a desk - I've no idea why but I got a couple of static shocks attempting to charge my phone and then opted to use my power bank instead as I didn't feel safe using the wall sockets. The shower was inconsistent with pressure and temperature and the bathroom door looked like a front door and had a window in it so no privacy there. There's no staff over night and in the morning either so couldn't say anything but if you do read this - please spend a night in room 4
Value for money, great location, friendly staff
