A highly overrated spa hotel that failed to meet even basic expectations.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel was one of the biggest disappointments of my recent travels.

I booked my stay three weeks in advance based on the hotel’s excellent rating and beautiful photos. Unfortunately, the reality did not match the expectations.

First, the hotel grounds are very large, and guest rooms are spread across multiple buildings. My room was located quite far from both the restaurant and the reception area. During my stay, it rained heavily almost nonstop, which meant every trip to dinner required a long walk through pouring rain. Room service was not available, and every attempt to reach the restaurant by phone resulted in the call being disconnected.

The room itself was far below what I would expect from a 4-star spa hotel. The air conditioning unit looked outdated, the carpet was old and stained, and the overall condition of the room felt tired and neglected.

What surprised me most was the bathroom amenities. For a property that markets itself as a spa hotel, there were very few toiletries and none of the thoughtful touches typically expected at this price point. The experience felt far from luxurious.

Another issue was the number of guests with dogs. Barking could be heard from nearby rooms, and the sound insulation was extremely poor. Anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing spa retreat should be aware of this.

The spa itself was also disappointing. One of the mainm reasons I chose this hotel was to enjoy a relaxing massage. However, when I arrived, there were no available appointments for the same day. The only available slot on the following day was at 5:00 PM, despite the spa being open until 9:00 PM. For a hotel that heavily promotes its spa facilities, this was very frustrating.

After realizing that the hotel was simply not what I had expected, I politely asked to check out early and receive a refund for the unused second night. My request was declined by the reception staff and later by the manager as well.

toller Park angenehmes Flair. Zimmer sind in Ordnung.

Cons:

Der Service beim Frühstück hätte etwas besser sein können. Bin behindert und hatte darum gebeten mir doch bitte einen espresso zu bringen. Wurde nicht gemacht.

Очень понравился готель-замок. Очень познавательной была информация о каждом здании на территории. Спа большое, в бассейне проводилась тренировка по плаванию для детей - они как будто и не мешали. Завтрак шикарный - были фреши и всякие разные блюда и сладости. Парковка бесплатная большая, но немножко в стороне от домика. Номер с терассой под ёлками был очень романтичным и чистым. Немного не удобно идти через всю территорию замка в спа, расстояние 300 м. Большая территория с парком, детскими площадками, озером.

Alles gepflegt und sauber, Zimmer groß und alles vorhanden.

Cons:

Service im Restaurant mit langen Wartezeiten auf Getränke, teilweise unkoordiniert im Ablauf der Bewirtung. Betrifft nur Abendessen, Frühstück hervorragend.

Cudowne miejsce. Rozległe zadbane tereny po których spacer to czysty relaks. Pokój komfortowy (byliśmy w domku ogrodnika) wygodne łóżka. W całym resorcie widać dbałość o każdy szczegół. Świetne zaplecze basenowosaunowe. Wszędzie jest pięknie. Pyszne śniadania. Serdecznie polecam. To miejsce spełniło nasze oczekiwania.

Hotel na bardzo wysokim poziomie
Pros:

Sam hotel jest świetnie odnowiony, teren wokół super zagospodarowany i zadbany, przy pięknej pogodzie nie trzeba nigdzie dalej się ruszać :) Muzeum to ciekawy dodatek. Obsługa bardzo uprzejma, śniadania pyszne.

Cons:

Jedyny minus to konieczność przechodzenia na basen do innego budynku - ale latem to nie przeszkadza i sam basen też jest ok

Das ganze Anwesen strahlt jahrhundertealte Geschichte aus. Unser Zimmer im Haus Officyna hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war geräumig und edel, dem historischen Charakter entsprechend zeitlos-modern eingerichtet. Große, sehr bequeme Betten und luxuriöses Marmorbad. Alles sauber und gut verarbeitet. Die Natur ringsum samt gepflegtem Park, der kleine Bach, der Teich, die herrliche Ruhe! Für uns Großstädter eine Oase. Nach den Stadtausflügen haben wir uns schon wieder nach Zamek Topasz gesehnt; und nach dem vorzüglichen Abendessen (der Koch ist ein Künstler seines Fachs). Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und für jeden Geschmack waren Leckereien zu finden. Und nicht zu vergessen, überall war nettes, zuvorkommendes, fachkundiges Personal anzutreffen. Leider haben wir das Spa nicht genutzt, nur die schönen Fotos auf der Website bewundert.

Cons:

Nur eine einzige winzige Kleinigkeit: einmal wurde mein Weinglas abends kaum mit den bestellten 125 ml gefüllt, ich habe es der Azubi aber nicht anmerken lassen, weil alles ansonsten perfekt war :)
