Quiet stay with outstanding hospitality outside the bustle of Mainz - and near FRA airport
Pros:

My very roomy single with balcony included a settee, a mini-fridge, a desk with chair and wardrobe. Lovely room with finely-kept wood doors and trim, the kind they just don't make anymore; every square inch has clearly been immaculately maintained for decades. The room was spotless. The rest of the hotel was no different - handsomely decorated and tidier than tidy. I felt transported to some other era. It's a family-run place with intense pride of ownership which shows not just in every corner of the facility but in the personal interactions with very welcoming and helpful family-member/manager Anja, who should be giving lessons to hoteliers everywhere. Breakfast was traditional German and wonderful. With a walk of maybe 2 minutes I was at the Gustavsburg train station - then the trip to Mainz's Roman Theater station took only 4 minutes - and from there it was only a couple minutes more to the heart of Mainz, the Augustinerstrasse. And getting to FRA for my flight out was a direct train ride of just 20 minutes.

Cons:

The balcony was nice enough - but it looks only onto the parking lot in back.

Hochwertige Ausstattung meines Zimmers. sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Service des familienbetriebenen Hotels. Frühstück mittlere Qualität. Sehr ruhige Lage im Mainzer Vorort mit perfekter S-Bahn-Anbindung.

Sehr schönes, gemütliches und familiär geführtes Hotel. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Inhaber. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr schönes Schwimmbad und großer Parkplatz. Sehr schönes, nostalgisches Flair. Perfekte Verkehrsanbindung. Ich werde wiederkommen.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Schöner Frühstücksraum! Sehr nette Hotelleitung! Parkplätze hinter dem Hotel vorhanden (für Gäste kostenlos!)

Hier gibt’s sie noch, die gute alte Zeit!
Pros:

Hier erinnert Alles an die gute alte Zeit,
und das ist gerade heute sehr wohltuend.
Nette Wirtsleute, sogar ein Schwimmbad
und gutes Frühstück!
Der nahe Bahnhof hat nicht gestört.
Auch Parkplätze waren kein Problem.

Correct mais un lit plus grand et une meilleure connexion internet
Pros:

Hôtel correct-Accueil sympathique mais lit "une place" (peu confortable car exigu) et mauvaise connexion internet

Cons:

Connexion internet et passer à des lits deux places même lorsqu'on voyage seul

Altmodisches aber sauberes kleines Hotel. Gut für Kurzaufenthalt etc.
Pros:

Die Chefin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gutes Frühstück. Zimmer war ruhig, gross mit Balkon und sauber.
Hotel sauber und ordentlich. Einrichtung sehr speziell. Für eine Nacht absolut ok. Das Hotel ist eine Zeitkapsel. Wer die 70er/ 80er wiedererleben möchte, sollte hier übernachten. Eiche rustikal, Tischchen und Deckchen, Vasen, Wandteppiche mit alten Motiven. Erinnert mich alles an meine 1980er Jahre als Kind bei meiner Oma. Aber alles gut in Schuss.

Cons:

Die doch sehr altertümliche Ausstattung/ Inventar. Geschmacksache. Und der Preis mit Frühstück ist auch im oberen Level und nicht ganz gerechtfertigt.
