Pros:

The staff was very helpful. The location was close to the airport and convenient overall. I was told that this is the oldest building in the town, which made me appreciate the architecture a lot more.

Cons:

I am not normally a claustrophobic person but although my room had a ceiling fan, I was having so much trouble breathing in that room. The ventilation wasn’t so good, I didn’t have a window to let some air from outside in.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in wunderschönem Hotel
Pros:

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren 2x für je eine Nacht (nicht aneinanderhängende Daten) dort und hatten verschiedene Zimmer. Diese waren unterschiedlich, beide aber sehr schön.
Auch die Lage ist super. Es gibt viele Geschäfte und Restaurants in der direkten Umgebung.

Cons:

Das Einzige was in den Zimmern fehlt ist ein kleiner Kühlschrank.
Das Parkieren ist etwas mühsam, weil man es immer erst ab der Rezeption anmelden muss. Auch wenn man sonst etwas aus dem Auto holen möchte, braucht man einen Mitarbeitenden.

Comfortable, friendly place to stay in Alajuela, close to the airport. Would stay here again.
Pros:

The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was great. I loved the style and attention to details in the common areas. It was a very beautiful, stylish hotel inside. They also arranged a taxi to the airport for me, which I appreciated. It was walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the main park.

Cons:

There was some street noise but it wasn't too bad and they provided earplugs in the rooms, which was a nice touch. I don't think there is anywhere you can stay in this area where you won't hear a little bit of street noise.
