The location is excellent, close to CBD and facilities

Cons:

My room was overlooking the beer garden and it was my fault but I didn’t realise that they stay open until 3am even if no one is outside. Music was a little noisy, next time I’d request a room on the other side of the building

Reasonable. And comfy for a quick last second booking

Comfortable, affordable, bathroom has a great shower
Pros:

Country pub accommodation as expected - happy friendly staff, a bit of pub patron noise, long corridors to rooms. An excellent bathroom with lovely hot shower. Everything that you need for an overnight when travelling.

Booked for 2, but only stayed for 1. Found accommodation elsewhere due to the communal amenities
Pros:

Good location, even if there is a loud bar and bistro downstairs.

Cons:

I didnt realize it was a communal accommodation - def feels like the walls have seen a lot of stuff happen. I dont mind communal showers, however it is very dated. Also on check in, lengthy process as the staff couldnt find keys, were busy in the bar/bistro, and despite seeing a line of guests waiting to be checked in, proceeded to take a phone call booking. I had to ask to prioritise our check in and call the person back (hated that I had to ask that).

Pros:

Whan I was last here, 12 years ago, Romanos seemed dusty and depressing. Now, after recent renovations, the hotel is bright, fresh and stylish. Recommended!
