Great location and friendly atmosphere.
Pros:

Comfy bed. Nice room. Great location. Friendly staff.
Breakfast was lovely - apart from hard poached egg rather than runny.

Cons:

Breakfast was lovely but eggs were hard poached, not runny. Took a long time for the waiter to take our order.
Bar - twice bar staff give me soda water rather than lemonade, he didn't seem bothered.
Room - although comfortable bed, the room was very tight - think need a smaller desk unit.

Pros:

Location was very accessible, room was really nice, particularly if you like the character of older buildings. Fantastic shower.

Cons:

Excellent value for money in a good location.
Pros:

Excellent freshly cooked breakfast however slow service.
Good evening meal choice.
I was served the wrong pizza and this was efficiently rectified with good humour. Well done.
Falstaff room one is a good size with a dressing area.
Good off road walk available behind the building.

Cons:

Parking could be an issue if it's busy.
The bathroom refurbishment needs to be completed but it's not a major issue.

Dirty and uncomfortable
Pros:

Staff all very kind and cheerful, prettily located next to the village church

Cons:

The room did not meet our expectations for basic cleanliness and comfort. Nothing was quite clean, eg the dusty carpet, the stained bathroom floor, the slightly mouldy grouting in the shower. There was a smell of sewage in the room throughout the evening. The bed was not quite comfortable. I’m afraid I cannot recommend staying here. The reviews I had read and the photos I had seen were not accurate.

Nice clean tidy room. Good parking. Staff friendly.

Cons:

Main radiator of room opposite bed not working. WiFi a bit temperamental but seems to be the town in general.
