Absolutely perfect stay in Kosgoda!
The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach, which is perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. The room is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The welcome was incredibly warm and friendly, and we immediately felt at home.
The breakfast was delicious, and the garden is beautifully maintained. It’s such a peaceful and lovely place to stay.
A special mention for the cat and the dog, who are both absolutely adorable and very affectionate! The dog can even join you for a walk on the beach, which was such a lovely little bonus. 🐶❤️
We highly recommend this place. Don’t hesitate to book your stay, you won’t regret it!

Wir hatten 4 wunderschöne Tage in der Villa 252 und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich, alles ist sehr ordentlich und sauber. Man betritt den schönen Garten und fühlt sich schon Zuhause.
In 2 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am traumhaften, einsamen Sandstrand wo fußläufig ein paar Beachrestaurants zu erreichen sind.
Wir haben 2x in der Unterkunft gegessen. Der Hausherr hat für uns sehr gut gekocht.
Das Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich.
Villa 252 bietet im oberen Stock 2 Gästezimmer an, welche sich einen großen Balkon mit Meerblick teilen.

Un accueil amical et chaleureux dans cette maison dotée d'un beau jardin.
Emplacement excellent, très proche de la plage et proche de zones de baignade possible.

Grande chambre avec kitchenette. Notre seule remarque concerne le mobiler de la chambre qui pourrait être complété par des tables de chevet et au moins une tablette pour y déposer une valise.

Beautiful accommodation. Clean and quiet, unusually good compared to others in the area. The hosts cook excellently. There is a nice, well-kept garden around the house. The beach is close, just a few minutes walk. I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a clean place at a reasonable price. We will definitely come back here next time.
I felt so welcome and safe staying here as a lone traveller. The place was clean, spacious and well thought out. The hosts were helpful and attentive.

Veľmi príjemné ubytovanie, majitelia sú Veľmi milí a ochotní zariadiť všetko, čo potrebujete. Kúsok od peknej plaže kde sa dá aj najesť a požičiať lehátka. Raňajky boli veľmi dobré a každý deň iná omeleta. Ďakujeme.
Отличная уютная вилла, в тихом спокойном месте. Потрясающий пляж и очень приятный песок. Понравилась та забота которой нас окружили. Идеальное место для тех кто хочет сбежать от шума города. Невероятная настоящая живая природа вокруг, много красивых растений и интересных животных и птиц.
We felt very comfortable with this nice family. The room was large and there was everything we needed. The incredibly well-kept garden and the lovely balcony were also great. Even though we didn't use either of them because it was just too hot in April.
The breakfast was also definitely plentiful and delicious.
You are very close to a quiet beach and can get to all the other places quickly with a tuk tuk.
The family has two dogs, the young one still needs to be trained. They made sure that he was not outside when we came in the evening after we had difficulties, but if you are afraid of dogs, for example, this should be clarified beforehand.

We are repeater and enjoyed the Villa 252 again. Very nice and friendly family, clean room with A/C and excellent breakfast and diner. The villa is near a beautiful beach. Highly recommended.

Our first visit to Sri Lanka our first stop was villa 252 and it was better than expected Everyone was so nice breakfast super. Dinner superduper walkingdistance to an emottagen beach. Love it. And we can recommend this place for sure
We loved our stay at the villa. Very close to a beautiful and quiet beach. The property was very clean and our room was comfortable with fridge, kettle and hot shower. The hosts were wonderful and cooked us a tasty dinner and breakfast. We highly recommend the place

The village is a little run down with no shops or cafes so walking around town is not an activity here, if you’re into that.
Villa 252 Kosgoda is conveniently located in a short walk from the beach. A supermarket and some restaurants are within 10-15 min walk from the property. The place feels safe and is well maintained.
The room is big, there are tea making facilities and a fridge. AC works well. Also there is an access to a nice terrace.
The bathroom is huge, good water pressure, hot water.
The best part are the owners. They are extremely friendly and helpful. They are trying their best to accommodate all your needs.
I wish there were bed stands or bedside tables and electric outlets next to the bed.

Its not really sea facing but u get a view of the sea far away from the balcony, otherwise everything was perfect.
If you are looking for comfort and tranquility, this is a place not to be missed. You will stay on the first floor of a large and charming family house run by a Sri Lankan couple, 300m from the sea. There are only 2 rooms to rent, so no disturbance or nuisance from neighbors. The guest terrace overlooks the sea and the lush tropical garden. It is in the shade all morning and is equipped with large shutters for the sun. The rooms are sufficiently spacious and well appointed. Solid wood furniture, very good bedding, large bathroom, always hot water, air conditioning, fan and fridge. The hosts are very welcoming and charming and you will quickly feel at home. Breakfast is included in the price and is plentiful. It is also possible to order a la carte for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend it, it's delicious and convenient because there isn't much around. There are 2 restaurants on the beach, one of which was closed and the other one very expensive. Overall, the beach is practically deserted, which is part of its charm. On the main road you will find a kind of bakery, an ATM and two small shops. Once again, there isn't much in the area but it is possible to rent a scooter if you want to explore. I highly recommend this place for people who want peace and quiet, to be a little away from the tourist places while still having all the comfort. You can hardly find better I think and personally, I extended my stay and stayed 4 nights instead of 2. A place to discover and to remember. Thank you
The tropical garden can be a bit noisy early in the morning, due to the birds and squirrels and I'm noise sensitive. Also, there are many dogs around and you'll hear them barking, sometimes also during the night. These are really details compared to all the benefits of this place.
Nice owners, location 100 meters walk to a beautiful beach, excellent food. Only 2 quality rooms in the family villa with a nice garden. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very loud music from the neighbour house occupied by a group of young men. It was maybe just for the 3 nights we styaed there but earplugs recommended
